CMSioux Posted July 12, 2019 Posted July 12, 2019 The irony is that Bubba insisted on scheduling SU on the road (instead of a cupcake) for the good of the state and that game could likely cost the team the playoffs and his job. Fortunately there are at least 7 wins in this schedule. Quote

If Bubba gets fired following 2019, it will be because of far more issues than merely scheduling UND’s rival. FYI: 7 wins means playoffs for UND 4 Quote

Defense was ranked 26th in FCS. How high if it not out on the field the entire second half of games later in the season. 1 Quote

I respond only to note that the D has one failing over the past couple of years- stopping the mobile QB. How many times did they fail to stop a team on 3rd down as a QB ran away from our D? This must improve! 1 Quote

Sorry my intent was not to suggest that UND has no chance - I have been around for more than 30 of these battles and the favored teams didn't always win - one bounce of the ball, one player making a key play is all it takes sometimes. 3 Quote

Palmborg simply tried to do something no knee could withstand.....he jumped 3 feet high and 10 feet long and upon landing thought a 90 degree cut was going to work. I put that one on the player. If we would have had Kuksa and Reyes roaming back there that would have been unreal. 1 Quote
Popular Post SiouxFan100 Posted July 17, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 17, 2019 I hate to hear about injuries and especially career ending. I need to continually be reminded of the commitment and sacrifices college athletes make for the good of us fans and the University 1 6 Quote

Another player that could of survived by knowing his limits and role within the team. Clive could gut a team deep or with any open space......leave the tough yards for the RB's. I think Cam was a freak accident. And of course Conner Wentz had his cheap shot of a lifetime on another safety, 3rd game of the year, Zach Arnell. Thanks Conner!! 11 Quote
