Last week is what happens when you play 3 out of 4 weeks on the road. Settle down.

That is true, but if we make playoffs and not have high seed, we need win or be competitive even if 3 of 4 are on the road.

When we win in 2 days I am going straight to "being seeded" with "1st round bye", 100%. :D

Prolly looking at a 5-6 seed this season.  Are the Bears the new UNI darling of FCS rankings??  We will see!!

Actually after the win today.  It puts us in a much better situation.

Two winnable road games.  YSU and ISU.  Bison favored but let's play the game.

Home Abilene and yotes consider wins.   jacks let's play the game.

7-4

8-3

9-2.

The whole team made progress today.  CJ was outstanding,  money Maag, damn near every game hoosyourdaddy gain more in that game than he did all of last year with UNI.

OL had one bad game last week.  DB's made a nice stride today.

Let's play the games.

We needed to be 3-2 after the first five games and we are.  The young OL now has 5 games under their belt and are hopefully all fairly healthy again and can continue to improve.  Need to get a win at Youngstown and be 4-2 going into the bye week.....get some rest and also some more teaching for the young guys....and get ready for that second half of the season.  I'm SO ok with UNI cocking off how Hoosman was their 3-4th string back and he is our starter.....was a huge pickup getting him.....as well as Red.

One of the best atmospheres in the Alerus I have been at.   Maybe not the loudest but crowd was having fun and into the game at the right times.  Music was good (maybe played a little when we had the ball) but entertaining.  Band was solid as usual.  Great afternoon. UND was solid but can improve so much.

Stay focused next week and prove we can do it on the road.

Anyone have the replay of the fumble we recovered and then the play was reversed and they scored.

In real time look like fumble

replay looked good gunble

then one view showed it wasn’t a good fumble

Loved Tommy's head fake on that fourth quarter option pitch out to Smith. Defender had to retrieve his jockstrap afterwards.

We scored on every possession of the second half, and the last two possession of the first half.  Hoping we can continue that roll on offense next week!

Kudos to the defense in the 2nd half! For the first time since Week 1 (first half), they actually played well. Hoping this is the turning point!

Missouri State is actually a bad team and this win doesn’t count towards our record :whistling:

Well … we beat MO St by more than Arkansas did, so obviously we are ready to win the SEC. :whistling:

I think the best way to pull off a win is through time of possession. Hold on to the ball for as long as possible, execute in the red zone, and keep the ball out of Shelley's hands.

Possession Time: 36:00 for UND, 24:00 for Mo State. Holding the ball for 12 extra minutes is exactly what was needed. And that includes 3 touchdowns from 38 yards and beyond. We had a 7+ minute drive in Q3 that ended in a Quincy touchdown. All around, great job by the offense

As my hand is raised

who thought it was all over behind 21-10 with just under three minutes left in the first half

They are just different at home.  On the road, bury them.  At home, open the playbook and let's roll.
