I think the best way to pull off a win is through time of possession. Hold on to the ball for as long as possible, execute in the red zone, and keep the ball out of Shelley's hands.

Possession Time: 36:00 for UND, 24:00 for Mo State. Holding the ball for 12 extra minutes is exactly what was needed. And that includes 3 touchdowns from 38 yards and beyond. We had a 7+ minute drive in Q3 that ended in a Quincy touchdown. All around, great job by the offense

As my hand is raised

who thought it was all over behind 21-10 with just under three minutes left in the first half

They are just different at home.  On the road, bury them.  At home, open the playbook and let's roll.

I don't know if this gets talked a lot, but Smith has some really good hands for a running back.  The screen game with him was really good yesterday.

Maag is starting to put things together, had another good game.  This will only help the offense going forward if he keeps this up.

Defense took a step forward in the 2nd half, now they need to build off of that.

Some say Bubba made a bonehead call against the Bison last year but that call may have shown teams that we are willing to take huge risks to go actually go for it on those plays. Keeps the defense honest ! Worked today!

This is the best post I've seen to date with a positive twist to possibly the worst call in UND FB history (must remember it took forever to snap the ball).

Our punter has been outstanding, our place kicker has been good and his kickoffs and our kick coverage and punt coverage has been good. Our upback on KOR moved up away from that kick and our deep back didn’t get up in time to secure the kick before it hit the ground. That isn’t a coaching mistake, it’s a player mistake. Overall our special teams play has been good this year.

"good" gets you 6 wins and watching the playoffs on the sofa

one the differences yesterday was our kicker made his kicks and theirs didn't...but it shouldn't be where we are absolutely shocked that a d1 kicker makes a 45 yard field goal....

if msu scores a td on that first drive of the second half we more than likely lose this game...a fg even would've been huge for msu.  doesn't change the fact that that play is unbelievably bad/embarrasing....

When we win in 2 days I am going straight to "being seeded" with "1st round bye", 100%. :D

There are usually not this many golden posts in a thread:  One pregame post, rest are postgame.

We scored on every possession of the second half, and the last two possession of the first half.

Good to know that if things that didn’t happen yesterday happened that the result would have been different. Really deep insight there.

Starting to think the reason we can't have nice things is because there's people that actually don't want them. They'd be lost if they couldn't sh*t all over everything.

And there's a difference between understanding the team didn't play a perfect game and has plenty to work on vs. some of the dead horses that are continually beat around here.
