I responded to both his post and yours, again about the jackpot. Then you change the story to be about the "pot". And you accuse me of just wanting to argue when I was just providing accurate information about the original post in this string. They guaranteed that the jackpot would be at least $25,000 (as per the headline in the earlier linked article). The actual winner got more than $50,000. If I had moderator powers I would tell you guys to settle it via PM. But since I don't I'm not going to say anything. 16 Quote

UNDBIZ Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 http://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/4131211-get-know-unds-tyson-jost Q&A with Jost Q. Do you have a song you listen to before every game? A. No, I don't have a specific song. My favorite artist is Justin Bieber, just because I'm Canadian and that's all you hear about up there. 1 Quote

Blackheart Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 So Shane Gersich, Tyson Jost, and Brock Boeser are on the first line....looked pretty good out there; maybe they should get a name, although it's a little early... How about calling (B)rock, (S)hane, and (T)yson the BeST Line? Or even better, the BeaST Line? Probably needs a little time to percolate. 2 Quote
fightingsioux08 Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 Tyson, Shane, Brock The Sioux Boys? The Sioux Brothers? The Sioux Band? siouxsports, lets hurry up and pick some name for the top line referencing the Sioux name before UND creates an official name for them:) I vote The Sioux Boys as the best name choice for the top line! Cratter Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 The first game of last year didn't have the CBS line together. Quote
yzerman19 Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 Doesn't need to be an acronym- how about the beauty line Quote
tnt Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 Earth wind and fire Jost is the down to earth two way player Gersich skates like the wind. And Boeser is always on fire the way he can fire the puck. Too bad Jost isn't a big boy because it could be Girth Wind and Fire. Quote

bigskyvikes Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 Not sure how many I seen but every face off I noticed Hoff taking he won. Who was their last faceoff god, Knight? Maybe he's the next Knight... Quote

ted2you Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Do we always need to drum something up.... Personally I like the 1st line, or Number 1 line, or the Trump and Billy Bush line, One scores when ever he wants and the other is there to set him up.... I can't believe I said that.... 1 1 Quote

tho0505 Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 My take on this weekend: Several of our lines are going to be really hard to play against for any team. Boeser playing with ANYONE will result in production. We saw the potential of the Jost to Boeser combination. Poganski and Gardner are in a league above everyone else. Physically and mentally they are game changers and wear down the opponents. Gardner's quick-release goal on Friday shows why I expect 15 from him this year. Defense is going to be a work in progress, although TPoolman and Ausmus are ready and able. They are going to have to log a lot of minutes. CPoolman was the most up to task besides our top two d-men. We definitely are going to struggle defensively this year (compared to last years potentially best ever UND defensive core). As for goaltending, Cam looks up to the task and will continue to be steady Eddie. Obviously wasn't tested much, but looked poised as ever. Biggest surprised: Dixon Bowen. Awesome energy, great on draws. That fourth line now looks dangerous and has an offensive upside. I see us as a 10 loss team this year. Good, but not 2015-16 great. 3 Quote
ted2you Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Quote It looks like a good year for the Greeners. T & C Poolman, Ausmus and Bowen, East Grand Forks really looks good in green. Quote
