Based on how the past decade has gone, deciding to play this Fall will turn into absolute gold for NDSU.

The tide us to turn sometime! Well at least I’ve been waiting ten years for it..... honestly they should just jump to the FBS now as luck is always on their side what could go wrong! We all know they think they are too good for the FCS mid major basketball schools anyways.....

Sorry folks, just another way NDSU football remains on top and relevant in this area while UND sits at home and wonders what if....... For the next month all you will hear is NDSU football

All it takes is a couple positive test results in the wrong player groups and the fall season could be a bust. It’s not like the players are in a bubble they will be out interacting with who knows who

^^^^^^This.  It will likely be televised.

I understand the challenge but wish UND could find a way to make some games happen the fall assuming the players want to play.

Is there even anyone talking about UND sports of any kind today?   I think that answers it...

I wonder what our team GPA will be.  Seems like we set records every year, it's so exciting.

But they may get in a game or two before that happens, and if it does it's a huge win for the Bison.   Sucks that it's not us.

Exactly, and I had the same thoughts as the other poster about practices.  How huge would it be if UND played a game or two this fall, were able to get the 20 practices in (or whatever the number is allowed before your first game), played a game or two with the young freshman QB's.  They get to get game experience, then when spring conference season starts up, get another 20 practices before the first game.  That would be a huge advantage in this situation for use with the young QB's to get them experience.  NDSU is the last team in the country that needs extra practices.  They've gotten extra practices every year for about 10 years with all of their deep playoff runs.

So will this UCA v. Austin Peay go down as the most watched FCS football game of all time?!?!? A TON of chatter all over social media about people watching this game even though many never heard of either team just because COVID has made us desperate for some college football!

Central Arkansas got their game postponed against Arkansas State due to availability of players in a position group.

I think it is an Arkansas State issue not a Central Arkansas issue.

Not that it matters but did they state which position group?

Just announced. Family only at the Bison game this weekend.

Can't make this s#$t up. Embarrassing. Might as well quarantine everyone that enters the building now too.

Let people choose if they would like to attend.  Instead every bar and restaurant in Fargo will be full as they are advertising (and good for them) for watch parties.   Some would have been full anyhow but now you dump another few thousand who may attend there.

Dome is big enough for 8,000 and properly spaced.

Great points. Cass County Public Health is a f-n Gong Show.

Oddly enough, NDSU made zero attempt to accomplish that when their stated plan was "sit in you regular season ticket seats or just move to empty ones if uncomfortable."

There was no spacing though.  All season tickets in their same spots.  That's how dumb they are.
