Fantastic job be the defense and special teams.  Feels like Fighting Sioux football again!

The young DL really stood out, especially after disaster was predicted.  Evan Holm really was stellar again:  welcome back!

A big pay by Alex Cloyd and a big sack salted this game away for the second straight week. The ISU hangover is gone.

Extra congratulations to the d coaches this week.  Key injuries to work around and they came ready to play next man up. Hitting hard and pursuit like the Sioux D of old.  Awesome to see again!!!!

Give credit to the much maligned depth issue. The kids on the line played well when they had to, and Donnell Rodgers and Noah Larson are studs.

Jax Turner got hurt again though.

Holm can play 4 games and keep his red shirt.  What happens if he plays 4 regular season and we make the playoffs?   Would any playoff games push him over the 4 or are they exempt?

Playoffs count.

Play him against Weber and then pick either one or none of UNC or SUU. Give him one or two for the playoffs and then go from there. If they have to make a hard decision, I think everyone will be happy by that point and it will be something they will deal with.

Credit where credit is due. I’ve been plenty critical of this team at times, and rightfully so, but today they got it done. Didn’t have to be pretty, easily could have been settled much earlier, but a win is a win and over the #9 team. Well done!

Donnell Rodgers was simply a beast yesterday.

He and Larson won that football game for our team.  I'm sure they knew the implications of how they had to play.

Donnell was the player of the game.  Should be Big Sky defensive player of the week.

Those two have been on fire the last couple games, especially with a depleted DL.  Anyone have any info on Jaxson Turner?  Hopefully ready for Weber.

Too many fans assume this is a coaches decision. It is not. The student athlete will decide if he plays or not. Maybe Holm is prepared to graduate and move on to the next step in life. Maybe he wants to only play 4 games and play another year. Maybe he wants to run the tilt-a-whrill at a travel carnival show. None of us know what will happen or have any say in what happens next. It's his decision and no one else...

Kostich for president.  Punt pinned them at the 1 and blocked punt for the win.

We've been hard on him on this site when special teams have problems.  Giving credit where credit is due.

Good points.

Although,  if his aspirations were to work as a Carny, I think he would’ve gone to ndsu.

Yeah but he would need a masters in mechanical engineering from there to skip over the normal options for an AC grad.
