Hell, I'll even pay their annual dues! That's a pretty good offer. Hopefully it's not enough to sway someone towards leaving early! Quote

crb1 Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 My sources, which are pretty solid tell me we will lose Troy(just signed) Luke and Ladue. Schmaltz still debating. Of course things can change but this is what the word is right now. Quote
SiouxFanatic Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Good luck to Stecher with Vancouver! He was a big part in raising #8 and ending the championship drought. His presence will definitely be missed. Gotta strike when the iron is hottest though. I will continue to root for him and hope to see him get a shot in the NHL. 2 Quote

Popular Post brianvf Posted April 13, 2016 Popular Post Posted April 13, 2016 Best of luck to Troy on his dream of playing in the NHL! He gave us an amazing three years and ended it all by being a huge contributor on a national title team. He is what a UND Sioux player is all about...bled Sioux green and played like a beast every shift. We were truly lucky to have him wear the UND jersey and to watch him play for the last three seasons. He'll go down as one of my all-time favorite Sioux players. Thanks for the memories, Troy! 8 Quote
yzerman19 Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Best of luck to Stech. Sources showing a rookie max deal...gotta take that 3 Quote
Prison_Mike Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 I saw Schlossman re-tweeted some angry tweets from Oiler fans. Are you kidding! Your team is the laughing stock of the of the NHL for having every 1st overall pick in the draft and continuing to be one of the worst teams in the league. How is that even possible? #Jackass Hey @troystecher I hope you don't like winning. And having summers off #canuckssuck https://mobile.twitter.com/Smyttysslapper Quote
geaux_sioux Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Stecher is probably my all time favorite d man for UND. It amazes me that at his size he was able to do all the all the things that he did. He is amazing. I hope he tears it up and has a nice NHL career. It was time for him to go. 2 Quote
808287 Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 The very best to Troy Stecher who has worked his @ss off for every thing he's earned, and helped his team to many victories, conference championships, NCAA Regional victories, and a National Championship. No doubt he will succeed in whatever challenge is set before him, for he knows the value of expending the effort now and how that pays off down the road. Once a Sioux, always a Sioux, always a member of the family. Stop back and see us at REA sometime Mr. Stecher! Meanwhile, go tear up the Western Conference!. 2 Quote
snova4 Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 I hope he has an extremely successful career. Sucks seeing him go, but like others have said, he has literally nothing left for him in the college game. With all the draft picks on the ice each night, he was still the best player more often than not. Good luck Troy. I hate the Canucks, but like the Flyers, I'll be watching and cheering you on. Quote

Are they not developing them properly? I can't figure that one out. Quote
AlphaMikeFoxtrot Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 Pulled a Dekeyser. Hope he has as successful of a career as Danny boy. Quote
SiouxScore Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 Would have loved to see Stecher come back for his SR season but can't blame him at all and wish him the best of luck. A guy who really embodied everything that is Fighting Sioux hockey. Quote
UNDPUCKS Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 Thanks for playing Troy. You are a great part of North Dakota Hockey. Continued success in all that you do. Quote
tnt Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 Hope Stecher has a successful career in pro hockey, and it wouldn't surprise me to see him coaching at some level beyond his playing career. I know his dad was/is a coach, and you can tell, because Troy seems like a coach on the ice, always instructing the officials where the face-off should be, etc.. Truly a joy to watch someone with such an unbelievable work ethic who plays the game so intelligently! 3 Quote
