  1. My sister lost her battle with cancer on January 1st, she also happened to be Senden's billet mom with the Force. It made my heart happy to see how well he played this weekend, he told my brother in law he was going to try and get one for her this weekend. The kid is pure class. Drove from Grand Forks for the viewing and then drove back, another I have to say that has a ton of class is Bischel for Notre Dame. He flew in for the viewing and immediately jumped back on a plane and flew back to South Bend. I also agree, F*** Cancer.
  2. You know it's a good season when the biggest gripe is the cheers produced by the students. I'll take it over the last two seasons.
  3. While the defense looked rough at times tonight, to my untrained eye, it looked like they didn't feel Minnesota belonged on the ice with them and were pushing things and taking chances they normally don't. Maybe not, but I thought it looked like they were taking chances to run the score.
  4. This team is fun to watch. For unheralded recruits, Senden's line is the best we've got. Absolutely set the tone and hustle level every game.
  5. Thanks for this tonight, you're the real MVP.
  6. Technically a former player, Hakstol hired by the Leafs as an assistant.
  7. Not sure if this is the right spot, but this was good to see..... https://ca.sports.yahoo.com/news/humboldt-broncos-forward-brayden-camrud-commits-to-ncaa-d-1-program-155806874.html

    Shaw's gone.

Wow, that's a top notch dude there. You certainly wouldn't have blamed him if he wasn't as professional as he was.
  9. Honestly, I think he stays. Tucker was promised the world and didn't get it. I'm guessing Tucker is in his ear to stay and sign after his senior season.
  10. I would leave if I were Adams, and I'm very concerned about JBD leaving for someplace.
  11. I honestly feel bad for the players. While we haven't put the puck in the net this season, I honestly don't think it's on them. I realize our defense is the strongest point on this team, but outside the championship season, Berry's system hasn't done it for me. I just don't see how all these players forgot how to score once they arrived. Very frustrating 3 seasons.
  12. Sooner or later, someone is bound to fire one all the way through his chest. Surely the numbers can't take a beating like this for 60 minutes.
  13. Well, sh*t. Get the golf clubs out, or should I say snowmobile.

    UND vs DU

So we're due for a sweep?
  15. I think much of it has to do with the smell test since the championship season. Since that season, UND hasn't been the hockey team that most of us are accustomed to. Maybe it's a lack in recruitment, but I have trouble swallowing that argument because many of these recruits were scoring at a pretty solid rate in their junior careers. Because we have such a short window into Berry's ability to develop players we don't have an innate ability to judge whether the player was a miss, or if the offensive deficiency is because of lack of development. Personally, I have a hard time buying that all these guys forgot how to score. I'm curious, if we still have an inability to score next season, will it be player misses, freshman adjustment period, or fall in the lap of the coaches?
  16. Maybe I should have added a and my sarcasm could have been more easily picked up on.
  17. No, that's actually Berry's team, he did the recruiting, so they were his guys, but we're just getting rid of Hakstol's dead weight players. Just wait until next year.
  18. I would gladly eat my words because I'd be wrong and the team would be performing according to und hockey standards again.
  19. Say goodbye to him. If he's sitting because of play, what the %$#@ is Rhett doing in the lineup?
