Kilty did just fine for himself ending up at K-State, he was one of the top OL available. Isn't that how it's done elsewhere? This is a money grab by the AD....plain and simple. If you're a FB season ticket holder for any length of time you know the drill for home playoff tickets. It's not complicated. You miss out on ticket that's on you. This puts the responsibility solely on the ticket holder and absolves the AD from any responsibility. It's pathetic the more I analyze it. What if the playoff game is Thanksgiving Saturday. Why should I or anyone be on the hook for tickets if one can't use them because of holiday plans? The AD sells playoff tickets to every season ticket holder whether one wants them or not. They potentially could be sitting on the pile of prepaid playoff cash for years! NCHC hockey quarterfinal tickets you at least have the ability to sell and recoup your money. I couldn't give away FB tickets this season when we had a schedule conflict. The secondary argument is they get a home playoff game and actually win and get a second one. What's the procedure to secure tickets for that one? If Bubba follows his usual pattern this will be the year we miss the playoffs altogether and then the athletic dept has the money. I agree with Oxbow, it's a money grab. I'd think the AD would bid based on what he thinks it takes to secure the game, not on how many show up. Losing money on the first round is not uncommon I bet.
