Per Schloss,

Holy. Moley. Imagine if those are wins. Imagine if even two or three are wins. Ugh.

"In all six of UND's losses this season, it either held a lead or was tied in the second or third period. Gaber didn't want this one getting away."

We’ve seen what a difference a year has made for the Vikings in one score games, and while many times a bounce or officials call here or there can come into play, ultimately the players have to make that extra play.  So far this year, that extra play has been negative and cost us games.   With last nights game, let’s hope we have swung the tide and start winning the close games from here on out and not have to wait until next season to swing the narrative like the Vikings have.

Good analogy.

Cool to see Zombo already seeing some success with Lindenwood.
With how inconsistent UND has played this season, it wouldn't surprise me at all to see Lindenwood get a W at REA.
They certainly didn't get blown out by Minnesota or Michigan when they played them.

I have been thinking/fearing the same thing

What about Hak…not necessarily a losing season but a bad season?

That Blais season was the year after a natty right?

They were in the championship game but didn't win. Hak never had a bad season, Berry is trending to have multiple bad seasons.

Conference Championships are nice but not our ultimate goal.  Duluth and Denver have found a way to get it done twice each since we won a Natty.  We on the other hand have won 1 tournament game.  Remember when we used to mock the Gophers for winning the Big 10 and then flaming out in the tournament.  Well, that's us now.  As for this year - wow - to watch a game is to be frustrated.  It's not just the record it's how we are playing.  Can't hold a lead in the third to save our butts.  Add in our recruiting losses and here we are.

According to some idiots on "all things fighting sioux" our ultimate goal at UND is to put kids in the NHL, not win National Titles. :silly:
That group is nothing but a cesspool of idiots that want to hand out participation trophies to everyone and talking to Reise Gaber's mom like they are best friends.

Don't disagree but something about glass houses comes to mind.  This place isn't exactly a bastion of reason and logic.

But really though the most idiotic of the ss.com crowd is by far the best of that fbook page...

The butt licking if gabers mom is really really cringy as the kids say...

Quote
  • Dylan James quietly has eight points in the last seven games and is now the fourth-leading scorer on the team, only behind Gaber, Jackson Blake and Jandric.
  • Judd Caulfield has five goals in the last seven games after not tallying a point in the first eight games.
  • Berry on starting Jakob Hellsten in both games this weekend: "He looks confident. He looks solid. That's all you're asking. When you're going through what we're going through right now and it's not coming easy, all you need is 'solid.' That's from our whole group."

Was it worth buying West Regional tickets in Fargo?

Yeah, the last 3 regionals we have hosted, we missed NCAA in Sioux Falls, missed in Fargo, then had the Covid year 5 OT loss in Fargo.  Kind of makes you wonder if this bid regional will follow suit.  To be honest I am on the fence on this one.
