NDSU @ UND.....bout time.

NDSU is not the big bad wolf and nobody needs to fear them.  They are a shadow of their former selves and overrated.   They are not a top 5 team probably closer to the 10-15 range.  They are not walking into the Alerus and putting up any where near 30 points.  UND fans need not worry about tomorrow.

If you're a UND fan scream at the top of your lungs from beginning to end - Ask Cal-Davis from years ago - NOISE can make a difference in the Alerus.  It's your ONLY job:-)

18 years, that is an entire generation of fans that has existed only making noise on third down. Hopefully the Moo U fans that made it in motivate our fans to put their phones away and make noise. I plan to lose my voice and get sideways looks from those sitting on their hands.

Overrated is correct, especially on this board.
They lost 3 games last season, Southern Illinois, SD State, & Sam Houston.
Could have 4 losses this season starting with their first today.

UND football primer: How to watch, injuries to know and matchups for No. 10 Fighting Hawks against No. 5 North Dakota State
by Tom Miller

UND running back Otis Weah celebrates his 74-yard touchdown run in the first period of the Missouri Valley Football Conference football game against the N.D. State Bison at the Fargodome on Saturday, March 20, 2021. Nick Nelson / Grand Forks Herald

UND takes a 12-game home winning streak into Saturday. The streak is the third-longest active home winning streak in the FCS, behind only James Madison and Eastern Washington.

The game is a sellout, with more than 12,000 fans expected to fill the Alerus. Although UND saw more than 12,000 fans in two games early in the 2017 season, the atmosphere Saturday might not be something Grand Forks has seen since the 2003 UND-NDSU game.

Both UND and NDSU are coming off bye weeks.

My first year at UND was memorable. Good time.

Quote

That’s when Mooney, who will be inducted into the UND Athletic Department Hall of Fame on Saturday, changed the course of the rivalry. He stripped the ball from Bison running back Jason Miller in front of the Bison bench and rumbled 32 yards into the north end zone for the winning touchdown. UND managed to hang on for the 22-21 win and seconds after the win the south end zone goalposts came down and were paraded along University Avenue.

Hopefully UND has beefed up their lines.  The last games that UND has played NDSU despite what any "listed" weights have shown, the eye test has made it clear NDSU has different type athletes than UND does in the trenches.

We got absolutely dominated by Utah State which doesn't give me much hope
