To go back to school or play in a non UND FCS game?

Mel Pearson is waiting on line 3 for you to give you his opinion on this subject.

UND one of the 14 "pre-approved" sites eligible to host playoff games.

Top 20 schools not on the list are Richmond (12), UC Davis (13), VMI (14), SIU (16), Nicholls (18), UIW (19), Monmouth (20).
Maine (roughly 30th) is the only unranked school on the list.

So who hosts if two pre-approved sites have their team playing each other?

Higher seed?
Higher bid?

UNI because of #QualityLosses?
UMD because of Covid forfeit protocols?

Like they are going to make anything clear....

During the bracketing process, the committee will pick eight of those 16 preapproved sites to serve as a first-round host based on the makeup of the bracket.

The quarterfinal and semifinal host sites also would be selected from the preapproved sites based on the makeup of the bracket.

In pre-pandemic times, the higher-seeded team had the option to host preliminary-round games, depending on the availability of its facility, in the FCS championship.

Looks like no Nichols tents in the running.

That was such a joke. I would be embarrassed if I was associated with that school.

I'll say of the 8 preliminary sites only 4 will be needed when push comes to shove.....or Covid comes from testing.

It was embarrassing to the NCAA as well.

To the point that permanent locker rooms for visiting teams are now a hosting requirement (though a temporary structure can be used for half-time).

Does St. Thomas have a message board anywhere?  Can't find anywhere their fans post online.

Perhaps the movie to D1 will bring a message board.

UNI short on D linemen, took a freshman offensive lineman and have him playing D. They are so short on D line that they may have to play a 3 man front instead of 4. Why won’t UND do that?

We already play a 3 man front

Weber State is 5 and 0.  They could of easily lost about 3 of these games. Probably deserved to have lost at least twice. Definitely the least impressive 5 and 0 team you will find.

Missouri State finishes off league play with a win over Youngstown and clinches a share of the league title. May not make playoffs

Youngstown should bow out of next weeks game and the MVFC should schedule Missouri Stare to come to Grand Forks.

Not a bad idea.

I’m sure Youngstown is not going to give up a home game. If they were on the road it could happen.

So how does UNI slow down the bison run game enough to almost win it , but UND gets blown out and can’t Even get off the field? Can’t use being short on the D line as an excuse as UNI was as well......

Can't really answer the question about the D line. It was straight up bad how UND got pushed by the SU O line and coaches didn't change anything up. But a lot of it had to do with a 244 pound running back that no one knew was gonna start or even play in the game.
