NDSU is very good at football Wyoming spent $10,495,612. The prices are laughably high. Nobody From Fargo is buying. They are selling. The UND roster has not been upgraded much, if at all, this off season and you have, for better or worse, a new OC that’s wet behind the ears but was once a star for the Hawks at QB. Currently Sagarin has NDSU #19 in the country. Their roster is loaded. They have a new head coach that was DC on last years national champions with a long track record of success. They also have a new OC direct from a successful program at Indiana State and an enviable Bison pedigree as a player. Budgets for the 2 schools are very similar. NDSU just gets a lot of bang for their football buck. On that basis they are very good at football. Among the best. Thanks for the thesis. Sheesh. You could’ve just said you can’t afford to go to the game and left it at that.

A few UND guys wearing fraternity jackets and Sioux gear were helping one of their pals out that was not in good shape when he stopped to throw up. One of the guys said “it’s ok. Just bad coffee.” Some UND fans are still saying that and sound like whining losers sound. Face it “bad coffee” is another UND meme like “the moral victory” and "toe-to-toe". Not sure about the Bison QB. Doesn’t really matter. Several QBs in the MVFC contributed more yards to their teams than Stick. There is more than enough QB talent to unleash all the offensive weapons on that team. It wont be an easy game to win if the Hawks cant get a first down until the 4th qtr. again.

No, cost/victory is an overall measure of efficiency regarding cost of success. It's too granular to tell anything about why the efficiency is what it is but it does tell you how efficient the program is at delivering success. At $1.5 mill/victory success is expensive at UND when compared to NDSU's $377,000 or so. Of course Alabama finds itself in the same position as NDSU. Cost/victory is low when compared to their peers that are spending as much as they can to be competitive too. Im going to predict a cost/victory of say $545,000 for the Bison and $1 million for UND in the 2019 season. Im taking the under on the Herd and the over on the Hawks. The Bison will probably out-spend the Hawks by at least 1 million in 2019, as they usually do, but will deliver a lot more victories at a far cheaper cost/victory. That's the way it goes for schools that are good at football. Ps. Just for comparison based on Median FCS spending and a .500 season cost/victory was $679,690.
Popular Post bkbroiler
At what point did this thread become a debate for Bison's bang for buck spending budget or story time about the last time you attended a game in stinking Iowa? Did you go to a corn maze too?? How many pit stops? Stop wasting our time please. Can we please get back to UND football and how we will be this year?

SkoHawks
Had a nightmare we lost to Drake and it was so awful to watch. Woke up in a panic. But since I've read some articles and gotten pumped back up again. Man am I excited for the season. I'm loving this coverage from the Herald, they've stepped it up this year. Also always love most of the content from this board.
