The man looks like he could suit up and roll through our DBs right now. I like that he was director of player personnel before. He can give a fresh, outside, objective look at the roster. 3 Quote

Yes suit him up for practice and find out who wants to tackle. Quote

AJS Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/college/und-wildcat-quarterback-quincy-vaughn-giving-tight-end-a-try-this-spring I'm a big fan of this. Still being able to use him on 4th and short, but at the same time hopefully bring more versatility to the backup spot. This signals that they are at least somewhat confident in what they have behind Schuster. Quote
The Sicatoka Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 A QB should have the hands for WR. Can he run and run routes? And I too hope this is a sign that one or more of Romfo/Feeney/Hackel figured it out over the winter. Quote

I the article he notes that he lives with Schuster so he's hoping he will find him on some routes. Says the hardest part is the trench work. Quote

Of course I can't find it now, but something rolled through my Twitter feed yesterday talking about how at senior bowls and other pro evals the NFL watches blocking far more than route/receiving with TEs. It ends up being the differentiator at the top end between a look and a deal. Quote

Says something about both the staff and QV that he was willing to stick it out here even though things probably didn't go how he hoped after decommitting from ODU. Glad that he's stuck it out. I've heard nothing but great things from him outside of football as well. 6 Quote
