If what Chaves said is true, it’s unfortunate about losing the bid.  If we hadn’t been matched up with Weber, we’d likely be enjoying a game at the Alerus in six days.

And  bitching about how the holiday, weather, hunting, apathy, fill in the blank is keeping butts out of the seats. ( :

Somehow I think the line would be the same regardless of who we got matched up with:

”if we hadn’t been matched up against insert team we’d have a home playoff game.”

I would love to see some transparency in the bids. I certainly don’t trust the NC$$ at all.

So would I. A lot of armchair speculation out there. Begets message board ‘truth” begets message board “facts” begets message board “legends”.

He emphasized that it "could have" been.  Not that it was.  100% SPIN.

If anyone is that concerned, they can always use FOIA requests(or rather the state by state equivalents). You can't FOIA the NCAA or the private schools, but over half the field are publics so you should get a good sense of how competitive the UND bid was.

That would actually be hilarious. Post them all for the public to see on Twitter and sit back and enjoy the show.
