This is hogwash...pure hogwash!  You mean to tell me that you don't actually believe that gfhockey makes 6 figures and basically runs the oil fields out west, or that he's not personal buddies with Blais and probably has a private jet flying him around from the oil patch to Minneapolis for the Frozen Faceoff, Fargo for the regional and Boston for the National Championship?  Heck, he probably flew his boys down to Omaha for a few UNO games and then treated Blaiser to a wild night of partying and gambling at the casinos!  If you don't take him at his word, then I don't know what to tell you.  Heck, he's 10-0 in game day threads!

I suppose next you're going to tell me that the tooth fairy only put 50 cents under my pillow and my parents had to put an extra couple bucks in there after she left so I wouldn't be disappointed.  Or that the Easter Bunny put vegetables in the plastic eggs that he leaves for us in the morning, and my parents would get up early and replace the veggies with candy.  I MEAN...COME ON!!!

LOL, I hear ya. I just think he's quite good at manipulating people here; & that he continues doing it cuz most people still fall into the trap of playing his games. Some people feel alive & get a sense of purpose by performing altruistic acts for others, he gets the same feelings from playing people. I don't have concrete proof, but I think he's actually pretty sharp. Emotionally-stunted, yes, but nonetheless sharp. : )

Looks like #8 is in the books. He's done it before he can do it again.

In Zane...........and gfhockey, we trust!

Only if he starts the threads.  He crossed Dean earlier in the season, hope he can step up to the plate and do it again if necessary.

That was then.....gfhockey prefers friends over nattys now. Friends=bannys

Me and blaiser have had drinks late in to the nite with me staring at his natty rings

Well, hell, if that's the only criteria to be met...  Remember he also coached here in Fargo before UNO.  He apparently has a lot of close friends -  Even I've seen the rings!

As Deans fist was closing in on your nose?

Stay thirsty gfhockey.

Blaiser is one of the most personable, generous, and entertaining personalities you can ever meet after a series when out for beers.  He is not pretentious or rude or self-absorbed...

He will drink with anyone who loves hockey and make you feel like you're his good friend.

Doug Woog is that way too....

It's old school hockey family stuff...they both are among the best in the business

This is such a stupid thread these are both great coaches no matter what the guys who played Pee Wee hockey think. They are both going to still be great coaches at the end of the month no matter who wins the F4. Doesn't make them a better coach. These guys were and are both respected by the UND players, the NHL scouts and the so called experts. Simple as that. They have proved themselves to those that matter and have nothing more to prove. I like them both and have found both easy to talk to. They are both part of the Sioux family. Go Sioux.

Good quote by Dean,

“When it comes to arena, facilities, investment in the program and fans wearing that green and following their team anywhere, there’s no doubt North Dakota is at the top of the list as the No. 1 hotbed for college hockey in the nation,” Blais said.

Now this kinda stuff is funny as hell & no one replies to it or gives it any love. Come on, guys, lighten up a little & don't hold your sticks too tightly.  :)

So since it's the off week, If anyone wants a good laugh, head over to USCHO and read a UNO fan whine/rant for 7 paragraphs about various topics:

Count me as one of the ruffled feathers. They essentially beat us twice? We're still in this position even without Zane? Haha, that one is ludicrous. This team doesn't go .500 without Zane. I hope we do meet them, and then drop eight on Massa.

Sounding like a Providence win in the first semifinal.  Massa is already looking forward to a potential matchup with UND.

Getting jobbed for the goalie of the year award?  Haha, that's good stuff.  :)
