CMSioux Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 (Edited) 10-2 or 9-3. Bigger, more mature O and D lines and Touchdown Tommy in his final year. Quote

And maybe still a senior QB on the roster! 2023 should be great, and 2024 even better?! 3 Quote

Agree, you couldn't have drawn that schedule up any better if you wanted to! Definitely will be nice to have Montana at home. Will need to win that one for us, and the MVFC in general, that will be a big game. 1 Quote

nodak651 Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 Montana game could get bumped to week zero on ESPN... Patty: "Part of the agreement is that we'll consider non-traditonal windows, I don't think we can overlook the possibility of Week Zero window. I think there's room there, maybe not a conference game, but a non-conference game, maybe a game we create. There's a lot of interest in the Missouri Valley-Big Sky Challenge, I think that's an avenue we may pursue jointly with the Big Sky. We'd be willing to look at occasional Thursday or Friday game, but needed to be embrace by our campuses." https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/college/missouri-valley-football-conference-and-espn-agree-on-new-national-television-contract Quote
F'n Hawks Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 Soooooooo… Something has to change, but unfortunately I don’t think anything will. Bo said in his postgame he will likely be back. Tell Tommy thank you for everything, but we are going to go in another direction and have Trey and Jerry compete for the job next year. Impressed with Seidl and Tai, I think this offense still has a bright future. Can anyone give me a reason to be optimistic about the defense next year? I can’t think of anything right now… 2 Quote

AJS Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 Off-season offensive keys: 1. Have Tommy move on 2. Keep O-line intact (losing just one starter / one back up) 3. Keep RB room intact (minus 7) 4. Belquist / Vaughn return for Covid year 5. Re-evaluate WR position group 2 1 Quote

Dustin Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 I am fine with Tommy remaining on the team, but I expect a true QB competition at fall camp. Tommy has a lot of good qualities, so having him as a backup option would be ok IMO. It’d be nice to know what you’ve got in a backup in case Jerry or Trey get injured or aren’t as good as everyone hopes. Quote
LDL Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 who are the promising freshmen from last spring's class? Quote

Too easy to make him the starter again and the other QBs lose a year of playing no thanks unless you want them to portal 1 Quote
