It’s only on par to be our third highest leading cause of death. No biggie.

If the world tested for the common cold, influenza, or for example......hangnails...

then politicized every scrap of information, and counted every human that passes away, that happened to have a hangnail at that time as a "Hangnail Epidemic" death... it would be a top cause of death too.

But put your effin mask on,  under your desk in a duck and cover too, maybe thats the key. Sign the song even.

You know you're doing it your head as we speak.....

P.S.... Mandate gloves&mittens NOW to stop the population ending Hangnail Epidemic of 2020

# of individuals testing positive has spiked during the past week.

Which one should expect when testing numbers remain this high.

from the herald

Charleston Police announced late Friday night that two juvenile males, ages 15 and 16, were arrested in DiLorenzo’s homicide, which occurred in downtown Charleston Friday morning.

DiLorenzo, who in June retired as provost of UND after seven years, was with his wife, Suzanne Austin, at approximately 6:15 a.m. when two young men armed with a handgun demanded money from the couple.

DiLorenzo, 63, was shot during the robbery attempt and was taken to a local hospital, where he died, according to a police report. Austin, who was recently named provost at the College of Charleston, wasn’t injured.

The suspects, whose names have not been released because they are juveniles, have both been charged with murder and attempted armed robbery, police said in a news release. One is also charged with possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a violent crime.

Local radio in GF last night stated juveniles were "black males".

Totally senseless and tragic.

I've seen a couple of posts now that state that small businesses are not allowed to operate.  Is that the case in ND right now?

Who said they cannot operate?

And doesn't fit the narrative so you'll never hear anything more about it unless you go out looking for updates.  White guy that got an education, followed the rules and wasn't constantly breaking the law or hurting people, finally hits the finish line only to be snuffed out by two teenagers in an inner city weeks later.

Typical lazy reporting by the Herald. No context or full disclosure of details.

So if positive antibody testing means the same person is counted several times, how will the number of positive tests ever go down?

Bars, salons, fitness centers in AZ or CA and such.  Is that what's it pertaining to?

I don't know.  The businesses that are shut down are mainly in the same types of industries and have a common denominator of being places where people typically congregate inside in close proximity to each other.  There is no inherent bias against small businesses.

There has been some theorizing out there that any future rescue attempts should be very focused on the industries that are hurting the most, such as bars & restaurants and entertainment.  Obviously, that also trickles to commercial real estate.

What I don't understand is the call by some to lower the payroll tax.  The big problem right now is unemployment, not the people who have jobs.

This is correct as of today, but in April and May your first paragraph wouldn’t have been accurate, at least in Minnesota.

Walmart, Target and other big box retailers weren’t forced to close down, while mom and pop retailers were forced closed.

Has the production of N95 masks ramped up?

Still cant find any at my big box home improvement store.

Why aren't those being pushed more.

How much more protection does that give than a thin "face covering" that only catches large particulates being expelled and doesnt do any filtering like a N95.

Easy way to save lives. Especially when some of the ever conflicting evidence shows you can get it just from breathing indoor air not even from a surface or being close to anyone.

One can buy the chinese equivalent of a N95 mask called the KN95.

They seem to be pretty prevalent.

Menards worker was wearing one today.

Am I really to believe there is no more coronavirus in Manitoba? Or virtually none?

North Dakota: 5,000 tests a day.

Manitoba: 850

Manitoba population: 1.4 million

North Dakota population: 760,000

No wonder they have coronavirus "under control."

and your point by pointing out the suspects are black is.....?   It's called street crime.   Happens by and TO people all over the US every day - opportunity - a old couple walking early in the morning.   An easy pick but something went south and he was shot.  Very sad - too bad ALSO he was basically run out of UND.   Way to go haters - happy now?
