Regarding FB, it appears most everyone is on campus and healthy. The Summit is having some sort of competition between schools for spirit videos. We are against SU & Omaha in the fist round. ND1 Posted July 17, 2020 Share Posted July 17, 2020 In all honesty FCS football this fall is hanging by a thread right now after the Colonial league said they are not playing this fall. Best case scenario is we play a conference only season with no playoffs or wait until spring and try it again. It feels like a thing where if we do it this year it makes it too easy to make it permanent. That would also give FCS an even lower minor league feel turning it into a glorified farm system. Too many exceptions are being made to salvage $$$, not the sport. NHL playoffs in August? That's insane. Just call the season. NBA also. I'd be surprised if football is happening come November. Might be best to call it off. Especially in lower divisions that rely on ticket revenue over TV revenue. The only reason I'm ok with hockey in August is because I am desperate for some sports; but it does seem pretty ridiculous to try to finish the season and risk injury right before the next season starts. I honestly think that if they delay fall sports to spring they are just delaying a cancellation.
