Interesting. He's got some wheels and some shake.

Now that passes the eye test.  'So Long' Santiago and 'Super' Eppy along with Clive (needs a nickname)

Imagine him and Clive on the field at the same time.

Looks like he has a decent arm too.....throw him a quick pass in the backfield and have him hit Georges over the top deep like in the one highlight.  Having those two guys on the field would definitely help keep things opened up!

A couple coaches have started following Eppy Henriques on the twitter.  https://twitter.com/eppy_henriques?s=09

If his personality and demeanor (intangibles) check out, then he should definitely be a target for Bubba. As mentioned, losing Walker and Smith frees up some $$$

Pairing Clive Georges with this kid would be an explosive combination to help benefit the running game of Santiago, Olivera, Nevermann.....

SFI states Walker and Smith were dismissed from the team.  Perhaps their leaving wasn't necessarily their choice (though choices made by them likely contributed).

They edited it to say that the players quit.  But, in the comments they clarified that position:  What we have heard is they both technically “quit” the team. But, there were a few issues before that with the law, attitude, etc. that may have forced their move to quit. We expect both to move closer to Michigan to attend college."

Ah, I'm guessing scholarship reduction/removal occurred.

Love this little note from the SFI guys:

Word is Grady was on campus over spring break touching base with staff for the summer. A few logistics but it is still in play.

That is the best news I've heard in a while!  Especially after the dissappointing news about the WR's.   All other positions this coming year should be as good or better than last year, with the O line the one exception or question mark.

Catching up on the last three pages has been a bit of a roller coaster. If the Grady news is true I feel a heck of a lot better! Guy is a freak of nature and if he keeps it up he has a future in football.

Need either one of the RS Frosh or True Frosh to step up.

Also - re: a potential JUCO or other drop down...But without the Spring not sure if that would provide immediate impact/depth or not.

Why do you think a true freshman could step up but a JUCO/drop down without spring practice couldn't?

WR is a position that a guy could come in this fall and make a big impact.  This isn't true for all positions, though.

A little hint by coach Knaupf?

“We’ll find out more in the fall at center,” Knauf said. “It’s a two-man race right now, but it could be a three-man race when we get going in the fall. We might be doing some shuffling in the fall based on who’s coming in.”

Also said they have 3 holes to fill .... Wouldn't Grady have made 4?
