Your knowledge of details is amazing...   and troubling.

Thankfully I have no direct knowledge, just assumption based on his behavior pattern.

Just saw that as well. All in all.....we fared about as well as we could have hoped with portal guys leaving this year. I'm sure there will be some more in the spring. But if and when a really good player decides to transfer out of UND......no need to queue up the whole....."UND coaches really need to fix the culture" comments that will be coming from a few people instantly.  This is just a reality now and it's going to happen to all teams at some point. But hopefully we can continue to limit top talent leaving and bring in more talent and have the portal be a net gain for us.  I just hope we don't have a situation where a few guys at the same position transfer out at the same time, as that is a killer.

I don't know much about how the portal works. Can student athletes put their name in the portal and still decide to stay at their college? It was mentioned on the radio somewhere that only like 30 percent who enter actually find a new home.

Yo, Coach @108498, player X wants to test the waters outside your program. You want him back in your room?

He’d look really good in a matte green helmet next season.

When a guy at that level of talent enters the portal someone has been whispering in their ear and they have their eyes on the next level.

LA-LA-LA-can't hear you, can't see you-LA-LA-LA!!!

And yes @CMSioux I'll be surprised if he lands FCS again next year. I'm thinking he heard P5 conference whispers in his ears.

Bemidji all American rb enters portal

expect us to be interested

BSU had 2022 DII All-Americans at WR, OL, and LB, not RB. The OL was a junior; the others were seniors.

You must mean RB Jalen Frye, who was a 2019 All-American, didn't have a 2020 season and was hurt all of 2021.

Frye (5'6", 170) is small; he makes Red Wilson (5'9", 185) look like a giant. Frye's YPC from 2019 to 2022 is down over a full yard.
Frye stats: https://bsubeavers.com/sports/football/roster/jalen-frye/12960

Frye does not scream "between the tackles" guy (that UND needs).

Drop in production was after “Achilles injury”.  That is a concern if not a red flag. Did he fully recover?

Is there something after “red flag”?
