The past few months I have heard numerous times that COVID would go away after Nov 3rd. If anyone has that date please let the rest of us know.

Well, it will be interesting to see what happens in the next two weeks as many Republicans were busy attending “superspreader” events, er, voting, two days ago...

El. Oh. El.  After the big production he and the national news media made about it?  NOW, it’s a riot and not a “peaceful protest?”

Democrats in Oregon got what they wanted - enjoy your socialist utopia!

But isn't it all fake news anyways? You believe it when it matches your beliefs and question it when it doesn't.

Not sure what you're referring to in your second paragraph, seems like an attempt to include a reference to a broad and commonly misused term.

News journalism is shot.  MSNBC had a guy on a zoom call that was supposed to be a voting trends expert but instead proceeded to call Trump a racist for literally ten minutes.  And they just let him do it, didn't get any trends expertise....

Some journalists have received a wake-up call.

Others like those at NYT and MSNBC have simply expanded the meaning of whiteness now to include Cubans and right-leaning Hispanics.

These people need help.

Looking at
https://www.health.nd.gov/diseases-conditions/coronavirus/north-dakota-coronavirus-cases

I need to move to Billings or Slope County.
They gotz none da Covidz out there! :D

Three Questions:

  • Why get tested*?
  • Who enforces quarantine?
  • Why would you talk to an anonymous "contact tracer"?

*They don't do anything for you but say "treat as flu" if you come back positive. (Honestly, they should at least recommend a finger tip pulse Ox monitor and twice daily checks.)

Exactly

They will drag the Asian community into that group soon as well.

Have the black community in this country get their s##t together a little bit then we can all sit down and talk.

I’ve had two kids get tested, both negative.  Doing the responsible thing by keeping them home from school and they need a test to return.  Not going to be that parent that works against the school and they make the decision to shut it down.  I think other parents agree and it’s worked.  Kids are in session full time.

Others may be in the same boat where a test is needed to get back to work.  Not everything is as reckless in ND as media wants us to believe and most people are pretty responsible and looking out for others.

This.

BS.  There's nothing mysterious about it.   Everybody knew the Red vote would come in first, followed by the blue voted based on how Biden/Trump told their constituency to vote (in person v mail).

One tell-tale sign the Dems aren’t pulling shenanigans is the Senate and House vote.  I think it’s obvious that many Americans favor conservative policy yet can’t stand Trump.  If Trump loses, it’s his own fault for, well, being Trump.

If the outlet you were watching/following didn't mention that mail in ballots were the majority of uncounted votes at that point, they did you a disservice. I went to bed expecting a shift, albeit it not as drastic as I woke up to at ~8 am Pacific.

My understanding was that Republicans were encouraged to vote in person on Election Day and republicans did in mass. Democrats used the mail in option much more.

some states didn’t allow counting of mail in ballets until Election Day (big mistake in my mind). Due to the volume (and/or by design and according to state law) they couldn’t/didn’t all be counted Election Day. No surprise to me that as the mail in ballets get counted ( in person and mail in should both be counted with equal weight) that they would be more democratic votes.

There would be rioting lol but im not sure it'd be more/less correct.

Hopefully the recounts show a lot of flawed ballots that can be tossed.

Its very possible though that people liked Republican house and senate figures more than Donald. Hopefully the crossover appeal continues with the minority groups, Hispanics in particular.

With what appears to be substantial GOP gains in the house and avoiding a Senate Wipeout, pretty much all the progressive dreams are dead on arrival. Dem house members will have to be careful in what they even support, because midterms will likely be very favorable to the GOP.

Same boat here. Except they won’t let my kids return to school with a negative test. But, like you, I’m not going to be a Karen and start ranting about it.

The "blue wave" ... waived good-bye.

Do these places (Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania) have 100,000 votes more for President than any other race, including Senate, House, or state races?

is it possible that 100,000 people in those states only cast their vote in 1 race?

edit: just checked, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin did not have Senate or Governor races this year. In Michigan, a late surge for Dem Gary Peters put him ahead of John James

So you're fine with Philly stopping poll watchers from watching the counting?

I feel like the election will not be decided for more than a few more days if not, till next week. Love or hate Trump, you can''t deny there's been issues. He's the one personality that will push back and fight. I don't think that's a bad thing. Generally, in the past, conservatives cave to the Dems.

Gonna be a wild circus show moving forward.

Nevada won't be done counting ALL its ballots at the earliest by next Tuesday.

No. Full Stop.

Two things.

1) No it is immpossible for a valid result to include 100000+ votes to 0. That's rediculous and not even the most hardened libtard moron could believe it, the difference is, they're ok with it due to the outcome.

2) IF these vote drops had the opposite effect for the Repub party, there would be mass riots and the counting centers would have been overrun and burned at this point. You know this. We ALL know this. Don't even try to tumble into the mental contortions needed to disagree with that statement.
