The crazy thing is that this the the bid isn't even the only factor in determining the host location.  The hosting manual has a bunch of other factors listed as well.

The written rules and the rules used in practice have some differences.  Namely, only the bid amount matters in practice.

The committee: We will let UND in the playoffs BUT we will send them to the one facility in the nation that does not have a locker room.

I hope the team uses this as motivation!

If a student-athlete got hurt in a lightning storm in a locker-tent, ain't nobody gots enough coverage for the suing that would follow. Nicholls State and the NCAA would be under new ownership.

The tents are a disgrace to FCS.  They should have not been able to bid or had their bid rejected.  The game should be played in Grand Forks.

How about this: We sign a home and home with Nicholls State. And when they get here for the game in Grand Forks, the visitor locker rooms at the Alerus Center are "closed for renovation" and have a couple of tents outside for them to use as locker rooms. #paybacksaretough
