the bigger question being posed around Fargo; What the heck went wrong with our steroids that one year???

Given JMU had players suspended for the same reason following our game with them, maybe the question should be how their dealer got better stuff than ours.

That’s what I was saying; your steroid game took a dive that year.

If this was truly a preworkout supplement foul, I’m worried. People have been using these since the 90’s back when creatine hit the market. All coaching/strength staff members better be knowledgeable about what’s given to athletes. More importantly the ADs better know what’s going on in the program. If it turns out that a staff member gave the supplement and Larson made the statement that his staff gives no supplements. He’s not only getting fired but is going to be sued personally. Even if he didn’t know that was going on.

What ever happened to that alibi/didn't to the paperwork.

That was a typical Bizon post to down play the severity of these offenses.
It will go away, attitude. In fact, most troll posts here are to make little of these NCAA drug infractions by the Bizon.

Could the bigger picture within the FB program be more like?
The FB program became good at masking this stuff, they test themselves to monitor results and adjust the level of juicing accordingly. Timing is also important. All that the NCAA has done to us in the past is suspend the players caught and the program writes them off as violated team rules and we move on.

Has this FB program recently suspended a player for failing there own program's tests, maybe not under this practice? Lots of unanswered questions.

Is caffeine as bad as pot?  Can you deal caffeine like the pot dealers sold pot?  Are pot dealers drug dealers?  Is it illegal to sell caffeine?

NDSU got caught as far as I’m concerned. Further investigation and sanctions time, NCAA ...

I’m assuming that you called for sanctions for UND when your guy got popped for Adderall then too right?

I think we are all waiting for NDJuice U AD and admin staff to own up to this and handle it....the continued denial and silence puts even more tarnish on those trophies...

in nursing this is how an error is handled: nurse, who has completed a competency (so she has knowledge, important fact here too) makes a very serious error (death or disability). She is licensed in her state... hospital determines course (moved out of specialty area, mandatory class about medication administration, and 3 day suspension). This is then reported to the state board of nursing since it would be teviewed by them anyway.

MESSAGE: We admit our employee made an error and we will manage AND monitor his/her future actions.

I don’t see anything like that here.... my grandson says to his sister: Man up, Laura.

Man up, NDJuice U!!!

Depending on what state you live in they are both legal in the eyes of the law   They can both be purchased anywhere

In this case- The NCAA already decided the kid is a cheater and according to his mom was given his cheating drug of choice by an NDSU coach.  It doesn’t matter what is better or worse?

East coast bias.

Why are your suspicions  important?

Because he's a taxpayer and the State of ND could end up on the hook for liabilities (costs) incurred by NDSU if say Mr. Robbins (et al) were to retain council and claim damages ...

Mentioning the State, there's an open records law in this State. Now I'm pretty sure names would have to be blotted out (think: HIPAA), but wouldn't any testing of players contracted out by NDSU to a third-party be fair game for an open records request? It would be intriguing to see what NDSU's testing contractor finds during their evaluations. And this could provide some insight to Barn's question about NDSU having suspended their own for self-test results. We couldn't be sure (no names per HIPAA) but if there were X failed tests one would expect commensurate press reports about "violation of team rules" suspensions and such.

No, because the situation was vastly different; he did not get his Adderall from the university.

In the ndsu case, according to the family, the kid got it from the university, and it’s use was prevalent throughout the locker room as part of their university funded SFYP, or, Steroids For Youth Program.

He didn’t have a prescription, so he either got it from another player who did or another university student.

Either way, calling for sanctions is laughable.

Would you rather the headline read:

X suspended, got substance from roommate
or
X suspended, got substance from trusted staff member

I'd prefer neither, but, if forced to choose I'll take the first long before the second.

So according to you, the only other people on earth are teammates or university students.  Lol.

The fact you don’t think a university funded drug distribution ring is worthy of sanctions is quite telling.

The fact that you would characterize it with those words is quite telling. You make it sound like the damn Columbia’s cartel set up shop in the basement of the fargodome.

If you can’t make it at whatever career you’re at now, you’ll always have a job writing headlines for CNN.

He just might be worse than CNN.
