That’s what I was saying; your steroid game took a dive that year. 2 Quote
SteppenHawk Posted February 1, 2019 Posted February 1, 2019 Where did the steroid talk come from? Didn't they say it was pre workout? Quote

People have been using these since the 90’s back when creatine hit the market. All coaching/strength staff members better be knowledgeable about what’s given to athletes. More importantly the ADs better know what’s going on in the program. If it turns out that a staff member gave the supplement and Larson made the statement that his staff gives no supplements. He’s not only getting fired but is going to be sued personally. Even if he didn’t know that was going on. What ever happened to that alibi/didn't to the paperwork. 1 Quote

That was a typical Bizon post to down play the severity of these offenses. It will go away, attitude. In fact, most troll posts here are to make little of these NCAA drug infractions by the Bizon. Could the bigger picture within the FB program be more like? The FB program became good at masking this stuff, they test themselves to monitor results and adjust the level of juicing accordingly. Timing is also important. All that the NCAA has done to us in the past is suspend the players caught and the program writes them off as violated team rules and we move on. Has this FB program recently suspended a player for failing there own program's tests, maybe not under this practice? Lots of unanswered questions. Quote

Mama Sue Posted February 1, 2019 Posted February 1, 2019 I think we are all waiting for NDJuice U AD and admin staff to own up to this and handle it....the continued denial and silence puts even more tarnish on those trophies... in nursing this is how an error is handled: nurse, who has completed a competency (so she has knowledge, important fact here too) makes a very serious error (death or disability). She is licensed in her state... hospital determines course (moved out of specialty area, mandatory class about medication administration, and 3 day suspension). This is then reported to the state board of nursing since it would be teviewed by them anyway. MESSAGE: We admit our employee made an error and we will manage AND monitor his/her future actions. I don’t see anything like that here.... my grandson says to his sister: Man up, Laura. Man up, NDJuice U!!! Quote

Depending on what state you live in they are both legal in the eyes of the law They can both be purchased anywhere In this case- The NCAA already decided the kid is a cheater and according to his mom was given his cheating drug of choice by an NDSU coach. It doesn’t matter what is better or worse? Quote

Because he's a taxpayer and the State of ND could end up on the hook for liabilities (costs) incurred by NDSU if say Mr. Robbins (et al) were to retain council and claim damages ... Mentioning the State, there's an open records law in this State. Now I'm pretty sure names would have to be blotted out (think: HIPAA), but wouldn't any testing of players contracted out by NDSU to a third-party be fair game for an open records request? It would be intriguing to see what NDSU's testing contractor finds during their evaluations. And this could provide some insight to Barn's question about NDSU having suspended their own for self-test results. We couldn't be sure (no names per HIPAA) but if there were X failed tests one would expect commensurate press reports about "violation of team rules" suspensions and such. Quote

No, because the situation was vastly different; he did not get his Adderall from the university. In the ndsu case, according to the family, the kid got it from the university, and it’s use was prevalent throughout the locker room as part of their university funded SFYP, or, Steroids For Youth Program. 1 Quote

The Sicatoka Posted February 1, 2019 Posted February 1, 2019 Would you rather the headline read: X suspended, got substance from roommate orX suspended, got substance from trusted staff member I'd prefer neither, but, if forced to choose I'll take the first long before the second. 1 Quote
