The NoDak Sens are having excellent rookie seasons in the NHL. Shane Pinto hit the 30-point mark for the Ottawa Senators over the weekend. He has 18 goals, 12 assists. Meanwhile, Jake Sanderson will hit 30 with his next point. He has four goals and 25 assists this season.

Did Kleven get to his lonely skate tonight?

Might be a bit. Ottawa for the last 3 weeks has yo-yo'd between being in the playoff hunt to being on the fringe of the playoff hunt. yesterday they were on the fringe and after tonight they are back in the mix.

Kleven ended up logging more ice time than expected (21 shifts, 17:33 TOI) because one of Ottawa's other defenseman (Hamonic) got injured early. BTW, as Schloss's tweet mentions, Sandy had 36 shifts for 27:49 TOI, the most in the game for either team.

Kleven's pass was to a player that made the stretch pass. Great first game in the NHL.

Tyler Kleven (Senator #43) is one more player to participate in an NHL game.  Can someone help me with this question?  How is Tyler Kleven paid if he gets into one NHL game and the team has him watch the rest of the games without going down to the AHL?
