Not sure we need to bring personal life into this. Someone not being happy with the way their favorite sports team/program is at or heading does not mean there is something missing in their personal life. Such odd questions and accusations to make from grown adults... 2 Quote

The majority of the passes are under 10 yards. The pros aren't throwing deep, and when they do ... After 10 yards the completion percent of PROS drops to under 50% and after 20 yards is 20%. I'm willing to bet a "heat map" of Tommy Schuster's UND career looks much like that NFL map. And that is smart, smart coaching, smart playing, smart performance on field. Source: https://grantland.com/the-triangle/pass-atlas-a-map-of-where-nfl-quarterbacks-throw-the-ball/ What else am I willing to bet? Danny Freund knows and understands this map better than any of us. This is a good read from PFF. It outlines the need for explosive plays to be successful. AJS Posted March 29, 2023 Posted March 29, 2023 How good do we think Anderson can be at Right Tackle at 305? This might be a potentially big thing for this offense. Are we going to be able to say that UND's tackles are really good? 1 Quote

Well, I am sure Oxbow6 thinks it's a new golf ball to get an extra 7.8 yards on his drives. And MafiaMan will think it's a new jersey manufacturer. Of course me teasing MafiaMan will lead to grammar policing for the next 6 months on all my posts. But, yes your point is taken PFF can get nerdy at times. And peace to Ox and MM - remember Sicatoka started it. 1 Quote

He was "bad" enough to average over 10 minutes a game for a season in the Big Ten, playing in over 30 games. I guess I wouldn't call that being "bad" at basketball. Do bad athletes become 4 star basketball recruits and get legitimate playing time in the Big Ten? It's all relative, but even if he only did that for one season, I'd still consider it a success. It's all relative. Terrell Owens had a comparable basketball career. Turns out he was better at football. Happens often actually, and the most common position seems to be TE. 10 highest-graded current NFL players who played college hoops Quote

To be the same size and as explosive as a young LeBron and not even start for a middling B1G team tells me all I would need. I hope he succeeds, I’m just saying I’m skeptical, especially about the “44” “ vert. He’s also listed at 6’6” by most sources fwiw. 1 Quote
CMSioux Posted March 29, 2023 Posted March 29, 2023 Back on track - until we can break through the su's, UND is going to be among around 3-4 teams that rotate having 7-4 or 8-3 seasons and making the playoffs. Once again, this year making the playoffs is very achievable. Now that we know getting a first-round home game is decided more by politics, that is going to be on ongoing issue. Quote
