  1. And throw the ball further than 3 yards in the air
  2. I haven't yet, but know a couple co-workers that have and they said it was great!
  3. I'm not sure, but we need a big man. Amar as our only 5, and undersized at that, is not making me feel great.
  4. I'm starting to think he's just trolling
  5. Yes. That is how it is supposed to be. That is true NIL. All the big schools are doing 'Pay for Play' right now. I guess my point/questioning is, say Berg gets $30k from Red Pepper through this collective. Does him appearing in a commercial/tweeting about Red Pepper have a positive ROI for Red Pepper? I guess I just question if it does. Look at Mattress Cam in Fargo. Not sure what he got to be in those commercials but I doubt him doing that NIL deal had a positive ROI for the mattress store. I think it may be hard to continue to convince the businesses in GF year after year that contributing to this collective gives them a better benefit than contributing to other groups/foundations. Not sure it is sustainable. I could be completely wrong though! Just sharing my thoughts on NIL at small schools.
  6. Possibly I suppose. Probably better ways to advertise though. It is going to be hard to try and convince enough businesses/owners that this payment to the collective is anything other than just a donation. And if that is the case, I would think a lot of these people would rather donate to a group that gives them a tax benefit for their donation. There is no/very very minimal chance of ROI through the collective at a small mid-major school. At the big schools there is definitely a ROI case by contributing to their local schools collective.
  7. I just don't see the ROI to donating to the collective if you're a business in Grand Forks, ND. It would have to be looked at as strictly a "donation" (but with no tax benefit since the collective is for-profit) and not an actual investment.
  8. This is such a bad take
  9. Yeah I see no issue with him asking that question either. I think the majority of people that saw that post thought the exact same thing.
  10. I'm guessing that 7 was a typo and was meant to be a 6 because there is absolutely no chance Morgan is getting even remotely close to that amount from Nebraska.
  11. I just called and cancelled my football season tickets for next year. Told them it was specifically because of forcing us to buy playoff tickets that we have a 0.1% chance of actually getting next year. What a joke.
  12. I don't think it will be enough, but Omaha put together the largest Mid-Major NIL package to date to try and keep Frankie Fiddler a Maverick next year. Tony Osborn made a cryptic Twitter post yesterday saying that he isn't a "former Maverick" yet....... And Frankie has also told people recently that he doesn't want to drift very far from home. Will be interesting to see where he ends up. He makes his decision on Monday at 8 am.
  13. Ideally another PG that can run the offense and shoot it from 3. Then Hurlburt. That would be the most ideal situation for the last 2 scholarships in my opinion. Unsure how likely that is to work out though.
  14. We need to figure out our graphic situation. Not a good look.
  15. Anyone have any updates on Omot? I can't really find anything on him or what teams have even been in contact with him. At one point I thought I read that Georgetown was at the top of possible schools? Minnesota as well?
  16. Scholarship. And I would think so as well.
  17. Wait a minute. I thought……
  18. TT was our third best shooter at 32%......
  19. Sorry. Didn't mean he would play on the wing. More so he has the ability to take slower players off the dribble in a pick & pop long closeout type situation. He's not strictly a back to the basket type of big guy. He has some skill that he can continue to be expanded on.
  20. A 6'11" big guy that would come in and be the 2nd best shooter on the team. Has solid skills with 3 years left of eligibility that he can expand on as he gets older. Could play on the wing and in the post at this level. To try say he doesn't offer anything because he averaged 2 MPG on a Pac 12 NCAA tournament team as a redshirt freshman coming from a Class B ND school is a bit absurd.
  21. The biggest thing will be the help with recruiting local talent! Need to find a way to land more local talent at UND He's also a great coach. Was doing some really good things at Mayville!
