Need a couple DBs in the worst way. He would be a great fit for UND, given I know little about him other than he comes from a good FBS program.

Listening to the 360 podcast, they did mention Griffin Jr by name. I understood it as they expected him to "sign" today. Although they did explain how transfers don't sign as you do as a HS Senior. That is one to watch.

I have my fair share of concerns with how things are currently going with our program...but I feel like we've adjusted as well as we could hope for with the portal!  To add the USD receiver and two drop down DL (one a 300 lb NG thank you Jesus!)...has me encouraged!  Good work to our staff for addressing some needs and using the portal as a source of opportunity.

Of course...these things don't pan out until they do...but to get these types of kids signed is a good first step imo!

An interesting name I saw in the portal is Chase Carter, 6’6” DE from Minneapolis. Red shirted last year at Michigan State. Only reported offer is from Cambell. Would be worth taking a look at?

Just for fun, I started looking at some portal names from schools in the Midwest. Here are some I found that, in my very amateur opinion, could possibly help UND and I don’t think have found a home yet: 

- Wisconsin RB Isaac Guerendo - one year remaining and hasn’t tweeted out at offers 

- Montana RB Marcus Knight - haven’t seen a commitment from him 

- NDSU RB Dom Gonnella 

- Looks like the entire Northern Illinois RB room is in the portal

- Iowa State WR Tristan Michaud 

- Nebraska WR Kamonte Grimes 

- Kansas State TE Konner Fox 

- Nebraska OT Alex Conn
