Last week they tailgates next to the champions club tent.  Not sure if every game.

They have been in the same spot since at least Hunter Pinke’s freshman year.  Right behind Champions Club.

Alright 2-2.  Could easily be 0-4.  Glass half full....

Missouri State.  They got beat up by the Jacks....we win.

@Youngstown....ohhh boy I'll say we squeeze one out.....win

Jacks.....loss

Abilene......win

@Indiana State.....Must win

South Dakota....win

@Bizen......loss

Win at home and maybe surprise the Jacks like we did a few years ago?

Seems like 7-4 is a possibility, but we will have to improve light years on defense to make anything better a reality.

Mo. St. or USD will beat UND at the Alerus.

This team will struggle to win 5 games.  I thought the defense would be jelling and getting better by now . It’s not.  The offense struggled most of the game for a myriad of reasons.

Looking more and more like our 2 wins were against bad teams.  Need to come out firing vs Mo State and get a win or the game in Youngstown will get that much tougher.

Funny thing is next year about this time we will be saying the same things

with the portal some players will believe they need to transfer and we lose a couple good players

bubba or whoever needs to use the portal and get the ship righted

Unless the young linemen grow up fast we will struggle for playoffs. I was hopeful after Nebraska, know I’m unsure. My guess the quicker passes we saw earlier this year was due to that inexperience.

Defense I thought we improved on run fits, still could improve. Secondary needs to play quicker or we need mor me help over top. The long 3rd down reception today, to me exposed how slow are secondary is. The X/Y quicks gashed us also. Mo State may try to emulate that stuff next week.

Hopefully we can build around our strengths, force some turnovers and get the crowd fired up next week.

Is anyone else tracking Tommy’s incredible surge through the all-time UND record books?

It’s all been just D1 records he’s been setting right? Not saying it’s not impressive.

When you get a moment check out his placement in all time stats (not just DI), and then extrapolate from there. Fun to imagine what’s to come.

I guess I don’t know what the DII records are, but I would assume with a season and a half left, he would be sniffing all-time school records.  Someone have access to the all-time stats?

Go to Fighting Hawks.com and go to Football and find the 2022 Media guide. Scroll down the PDF to the records section. That will give you where he was at at the beginning of the 2022 season in some categories. Then just add on this years stats.

EDIT: For other categories, you can go to his roster full bio and look at his updated career stats to compare to all time leaders.

Looks like he only needs about 1,000 yards to be the all-time leader. Could certainly happen this season.

If Tommy stays health.  He will own all categories except completion %.  That would be tough to make up 5% this far into his career.

He will probably own, passing Attempts   completions and yards this year.  Next year total passing TD's.  Amazing.

Imagine if he stays 2 more years, which he can? 5 year starters completely changing the record books.

I thought his status as a Junior already included his free year. Anyone have better insight?

So he redshirted the year before Covid, started the spring season as a redshirt freshman, started last year as a sophomore and now is a junior but he still has the Covid year on top of next year.

2019 - Redshirt

2020 - RS Freshman COVID/Spring Season (Free year)

2021 - RS Sophomore

2022 - RS Junior

2023 - RS Senior

2024 - Extra Year
