nodakvindy Posted December 2 Posted December 2 I'd give Philip Vigil at CSU Pueblo a look, pretty solid resume and variety of connections and recruiting areas. Mike McElroy from Bethel could be a real up and comer, familiar with core recruiting areas. Brad Spencer from North Central (IL) is another that certainly seems to know how to win and is in the youngish mold. 1 Quote
The Sicatoka Posted December 2 Posted December 2 In Budge's TwiX, Chaves looks like he's being held hostage. And how about you put on a tie ... like Fruechte did. 1 Quote

The Sicatoka Posted December 2 Posted December 2 The 'prefer Central time zone recruiting history' is in retrospect pretty savvy. Should hold off some of the folks that have no idea about the MVFC. Quote

The Sicatoka Posted December 2 Posted December 2 Hoffner as a bridge to Fruechte? I really like the maturity (how he carries himself) of 33 y/o Fruechte at the podeum ... and he wore a tie. 2 Quote
AJS Posted December 2 Posted December 2 I would do Hoffner before Baldwin, but that’s it. What are we doing here. They aren’t going to hire someone who is 58 years old. Young and hungry. Quote

I feel like we would make headway some years and then the following year we would take 2 steps back. The thing I loved about him is exactly what you said, he bled for not only the football program but for the University as a whole and some coaches don't do that. I am glad they kept him onboard because his skills are still needed for fundraising purposes. 1 2 Quote
