The Sicatoka
Karl was voted captain but couldn't exercise it on ice because this rule has been in the NCAA rule book for quite a while: Quote 6.3 Captain’s Privileges - The captain may not dispute a judgment decision of the referee. PENALTY—Misconduct. For further violation, game misconduct.A goalkeeper shall not be entitled to exercise the privileges of captain. The captain of each team shall meet with the referee before the start of each game (82.2). During an altercation, the captain may not exercise his or her privileges until the referee has entered the referees’ crease. AlphaMikeFoxtrot
Bad news. My application to trademark the phrase "Hobey Boeser" was denied. I get the feeling it'll be overused this upcoming season.

Wasn't great at creating space, but when he was free, boy that thing was a laser. Wilkie seems to have a better all around game and a great shot. So heavy. So hard. So accurate.
geaux_sioux
Kozek ended up being all shot. Wilkie has a nice one but has other things to add. I'm thinking he will suprise some people next season.
KoolGuy2K
I liked how it would be in the back of the net before the goalie would even react. What a shot!
dagies
I'm no expert but I seem to remember that while Kozek had a great shot, he couldn't get it off without time and space. I haven't watched enough of Wilkie to know if his ability to get off a quick shot is better, or similar. But I suspect that will be the key. Can he get off a shot quickly, without having to take a lot of time to set up the puck perfectly or load up the stick.

UND's football did not sell for as much as UND's $1,450.00 hockey jersey. How much did NDSU's hockey jersey sell for?
