If we are going to catch lightning in a bottle(assuming we make the field) and make a run again we would almost be better of going in as #13 which keeps UMD and DU out of our region as I honestly think someone else would have to do the heavy lifting for us to make a run this year. I think if we play our best game we are close enough to at least a 50/50 tossup against everyone else who would be in the field but against DU and UMD I think we are a 2 in 10 or 3 in 10 proposition this year.....and I know Michigan was probably a 1 in 15 against us but there wasn't the familiarity with each other in that game. Then we played them in the West Regional in Colorado Springs... and were shut out 1-0... (IIRC, Ryan Hale missed on a breakaway about a minute into the game) Denver then went on to win back to back titles... Just sayin'... But if they sent Denver to Providence I bet they would send Duluth on a bus to Fargo, and send Western to Cincinnati to try and boost attendance. We just need the games to go "pairwise chalk" this week. Wisconsin dumps Ohio St. two games. Providence knocks off Notre Dame. We beat SCSU.
