Worth a shot, even if it is a long one. I still feel UND needs one more "go-to" type back on their roster. Quote

Never hurts to make a call, though I'm sure there will be MANY other programs offering this kid. Can't imagine UND picking up a player that is this highly touted, but it is sure fun to think about. Would really be fun to watch that. Quote

Nodak78 Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Nice video. really look forward to this team creating many more highlights. Both offense and defense. Quote
darell1976 Posted July 28, 2015 Author Posted July 28, 2015 After seeing that video I want the season to start now!!! Quote
UNDBIZ Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 SiouxFootballInsider @SiouxFootball Doing a little roster sniffing, NG Jordan Hinojosa no longer on UND roster. Seen he may be moving back home to FL. Nothing confirmed. Hopefully not the case. Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Hopefully not the case. To quote Paul Allen: NO!!!! Quote
UNDColorado Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Sh!t. If this is the case who will fill in? Also, wasn't he hurt half of last year? Quote
UND92,96 Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 !@$!. If this is the case who will fill in? Also, wasn't he hurt half of last year? I assume Woodsmall and Harris will compete for the starting job. I don't know Woodsmall's health status, though. Quote
UND-1 Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Losing Hinojosa is a loss in reps and depth, yes. But not as big a loss as one would think when factoring everything into the equation. They will be just fine as a team. Quote
homer Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 I really liked the way he played and the energy he brought to the field. Hopefully its not the case but its unlikely it would be in the tweet if it wasn't legit. Quote
UND92,96 Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 I also think Cieslak could be an option at NG. He's apparently up to 280. Quote
Teeder11 Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 I was fearing this when all of a sudden Jordan's dad stopped posting here. Well, moving ahead...... Greer is highly touted out of High School. And we know Bubba and Schmidt aren't above playing true freshman on the line. Quote
siouxfan512 Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Well that sucks if it is true. Really liked the guys energy. Major bummer to have a kid leave right before camp, but maybe there were some personal or family reasons in there. Quote

Tough decisions need to be made sometimes. He played pretty well last year and would have again this year. Quote
UND92,96 Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Tom Miller just confirmed that Hinojosa is transferring closer to home for personal reasons. Quote
UND-FB-FAN Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Tank Harris is now the guy who has to step up and hold down the NG spot; needs to stay healthy and have a good fall camp. Woodsmall, Cieslak, and possibly Greer would be the others capable of playing that spot. Quote

He played pretty well last year and would have again this year. There are some personal reasons I know of that don't need to be spread on a message board but I am not shocked or surpised. This is probably the best move for him personally. I Wish him the best at his new school, hopefully he can figure things out. Quote
UNDColorado Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Best of luck to the kid, I hope he lands on his feet. Quote
homer Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Hate to see him go but I wish him the best. He was fun to watch. Quote
geaux_sioux Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Well that sucks. Someone else will have to grow out their hair. It's nice to have a guy with crazy hair on defense. Hopefully things work out for him. Quote
O Town Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 I heard he is going home to be closer to his mom who is sick. Plans to walk on at FIU. Quote
