You think we battled in the third?

Yes. That is the point. We were completely overmatched in the third and we should not be overmatched by anyone we play.

So, two of your best players sitting on the bench for the two seniors that should have been riding the bench/stands.

Unbelievable

UND was outplayed.  Two bad turnovers/failures to clear the puck were huge by Juberville and Perron that ended up in the back of UNDs net.  Underclassmen for sure, but still those are basic fundamental plays that have to happen.  Wish Boisvert stays another year but wouldn't blame him for leaving.  Pretty much everyone else on this team is replaceable so might be time to blow things up....coaching staff included.

You mean the guy that choked every year in the NCAA tournament?

You mean the guy that made it to every NCAA tournament?!

Lol. Wow, how far this program has fallen.

Other than Bump,  don’t know that they have a lot of big studs, but when you play as a team you don’t need almost all your forwards to be drafted like UND.

Unfortunately the same UND team showed up tonight that has been playing all season. Hard to believe we can continually make the same mistakes every game. TJ gave them a chance. Hard to understand Berry’s decisions on who plays and when, doesn’t make any sense. We play like a team that is scared and then we panic and make mistakes. The first two Western goals were the result of mistakes we made trying to get the puck out of the zone.
It is time for Berry or Chaves to realize a head coaching change is not only necessary but mandatory.

Now it will be interesting to see who bolts and who stays

I’ve been wondering for a month or two if Boivert will transfer. Before his hit streak though. He had times where I thought he was out of the lineup I noticed him so little.

Offensively this team was so underwhelming all season...minus the bye week Christmas party.

You can’t tell me it isn’t the style of play that Berry teaches.  The announcers said the same thing of Western as is the case with Denver, they don’t want to be grinding in their own end, they want to be aggressive.

Hakstol certainly couldn’t match Berry’s NC$$ tourney record. Berry makes it so easy to schedule vacation plans for April because you know the seasons over with.

What happened? UND use to play aggressive. Just don't have the talent to play like that anymore?

And didn’t play the rest of the game did he?

Maybe Berry knows he is gone and doesn’t care if he is pissed off.

It looked like we had a chance, until we didn't.

That's what really bugged me!  UND had the extra skater on and do you think the crowd would get off their a**es and start screaming.  UND had homerink advantage in St. Paul - stands full of green and white.  WHERE THE HELL WHERE THEY DURING THE GAME??  Last one at the X - you'd have thought they never would have wanted to sit down.  They got a little loud eventually but then we get within 1 and they're staring at their phones again.  Pathetic...

So Berry needs to impress on his players every other year how important the early games against Bemidji, et al are? When a program like North Dakota is average every other year, it is a culture problem, and it begins with the coach.  Best players play should be the number one tenet of culture.
