Robertson. He actually saw the field.

Right, just checking. This would have been a much bigger loss a few years back. Nice to see the depth we have built here.

This team feels like it is right there but I’m thinking that’s my bias clouding my view because a team that doesn’t win a single conference road game isn’t “right there”. That indicates a wider gap but I don’t know how that gap gets filled without an MSU style coaching change or an all American QB landing in your lap.
Neither of those seems likely to happen, nor am I convinced either of those are the final answer here either.
Glad I’m not responsible for figuring it out because I don’t know the answer.

Not taking part in Senior day was a tell, but Maag confirmed he'll be back for his "5th" year on a Twitter post.

@Nodak78 about time to fire up the 2022-2023 season thread?

Just  copy and paste the 2021-2022 thread. It will be a lot of the same....

It's a shame you're being forced to be here. Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

You're right. Why should we as fans ever be optimistic about the program moving forward? Maybe if we we're all extremely pessimistic and down we could be considered real "fans" like you.

Didn’t say/type that. Pull the stick out of your ass.

Just pointing out the consistent issues [of inconsistency] over the last 8 years and there is a common denominator

It does feel like we keep taking 2 steps forward and then 1 step backwards and it has been frustrating as hell.  However I do think we have a lot of depth and probably have the best all around team that we've had. New speedy WR recruit, Tommy finally learning he can run and/or Feeney next year......new kicker that looks good......I'm going to try and be optimistic in the off season, whether it is delusional or not.

Boy you made him/her feel bad, didn't you? Another win for you from your Mom's basement.

I am just glad we don't have to witness Rudy and Knauf's avoidance of recruiting and toss plays 34 times a game.  Can you imagine how bad that offense would've gotten destroyed by these MVFC defenses. 9 in the box.

Can I get the over on 9?

They'd have redefined "single" high safety. Yup. Just one, out there, all alone.

Thanks for putting this out there.

McNealy in for Shannon. Apparently we are ok at CB.

I think both Morrison and Larson come back based on not participating in Senior pregame appreciation.

If Maag still has "next level" aspirations, he needs to put something better than this season on film. Too many drops and miscues. But he needs to stay somewhere where he'll still get a lot of targets.

How healthy was Maag this last year? Seems like he wasn’t at full speed for most of the games.

Hamstring was definitely bothering him and he wasn’t himself. Hopefully he can be fully healthy next year.

Kid played hurt. Two fumbles were out of character and shouldn’t happen. Injury rendered him less effective. We are lucky he’s coming back.

he was hurt for 12 weeks with a hamstring injury

Ignore the haters. Can't really argue with the resume. It is what it is.

I do, wasn't trying to argue, just saying the same conference UND is in lut 6 teams in the field, someday that will help UND and NDSU.  Being in a strong conference helps and hurts at the same time, but saying money is why is ignorant.
