Could it be that they see problems with the leadership we have emulating exactly those types of regimes you cited? "Those mothers" lol you make it sound like they were a group of women waiting to pick their kids up from school. I saw enough interview footage with those ladies to see that they are no different than the loons trying to burn down the courthouse.

yzerman19
Socialism is the attempt of those unable or unwilling to succeed to take from those that have achieved more. The argument has been perverted to now go as far as saying that the ability and willingness to succeed has something inherently racist or fascist or privileged behind it. My immigrant grandparents were dirt poor farmers. Each successive generation became more successful based on a combination of talent and hard work. I guess that is just my privilege talking...and the

Yes. These people are effectively doing the same thing as begging to sign their own death warrant. They're saying "please put me under Mao's China" or "put me under Stalin's Soviet Union, including the trip to the Gulag, please." Yes, our current system of government is the worst ... except for all the others tried in human history.

Goon
Hmm. Mostly peaceful. This domestic terrorism. I am all for peaceful assembly. It’s the reason I wore my countries’s uniform for almost 10 years. I don’t support acts of criminal behavior and terrorism like trying to burn down a Federal Court House. Yeah, being part of a Federal Agency, I pull for the good guys and gals. The officers and agents in the field. I support our brothers and sisters in blue.

The few thousand in attendance did get a choice to attend. It's already documented that the rally contributed to an outbreak and their poor decision making has affected others. Currently in ND there is no restrictions for churches. There's no statewide mask mandate and there's no city mandate in Grand Forks. Sure you can choose to go to church with no mask, sing and aerosolize your droplets, that's your decision to make. This does not mean it's a good decision. If it means flipping the system on its head, adopting socialist positions, and vilifying anyone who has earned and achieved more, I am not for it. if it means treating people fairly, I’m all for it. like coaching hockey: ice time will be fair, it will not be equal.
