The meat packing plant situation is a mess. Had the story on local news last night. Sounds like the ownership was negligent in trying to keep sick employees coming back to work. It was considered an essential business. Had nothing to do with what Gov Noem did or didn't do. 438 confirmed infected from that plant is alarming though.

its a mixed bag out there.  I personally am very conservative right now:  65% cash, 25% stock, and 10% private equity.

Dividend paying stocks still have a hill to climb.  But companies with products in development are still good buys- e.g. biotech, smaller hi tech, as long as they have cash .

The 5G comp INSG has climbed from 2 to 12 after starting at 9 because it's WIFI routers are in such demand now because of all the new at home workers

Just throwing this piece of meat tidbit out to the masses.

Wayne County (Detroit) has the 6th most COVID (11,600) cases and 3rd most deaths. 
Not having the Frozen Four this year may have been a great idea after all. 

I'll hang-up and wait for the flamethrowing

I would have suggested moving the Frozen Four to Engelstad Arena.  Problem solved.

Blacks have been hard hit by this virus, in part because Type A blood has been very vulnerable, same as Italians.  Look at New Orleans

ummmm...not sure where you have come up with this...If you want to go by ethnicity in the USA and blood type,  26% of African Americans have type A blood whereas 40% of people of European ancestry have type A blood.  Let's be careful in bringing in ethnicity.  Not saying you're a crazy, but even broaching the subject can bring in crazies.

It is a mess but it was a mess that was allowed to happen. 

 

How essential of a business is it now that they are shut down?
