Can you imagine the message boards and live chats from that month!???

Keyboards were smashed, no doubt.

SiouxSports would have called for open riots outside of Thorndycraft’s house after that 15-1 loss at Denver on January 13th...OUCH!

Questions concerning the barn

what happened to it?

was it still there in1978?

I barely remember some old building but I might be thinking of some rotc building

The Armory that houses AF ROTC and Army ROTC was the basketball arena prior to Hyslop. I heard a rumor that they want to move ROTC and give the Armory to the Art Museum but that was from a student so who knows how accurate it is.

Yeah, but those keyboards were attached to typewriters. ;)

Dam.  Some crazy times in the Barn.  So cold, you just had to be filled up with antifreeze.

I played youth hockey in there.  I remember the concession stand selling hot Dr. Pepper.  Not sure I have seen that anywhere else.

Don't remember that and never heard of it.

I do remember the fog that would develop when the place got full of warm bodies.

Might have been only a short term thing.  Some years ago I tried making it at home.  I was not impressed.

From what I can find it was a thing for a while in late '60's.  That would make sense regarding the timeline.

Fear not; we will not exploit your youth and inexperience.

Hahaha if I'm afraid of anything in this world, it's certainly not that, Mr. Reagan ;)
