Crossing fingers. But then you have a Fargo news station saying he could miss up to 10 games. And I'm rolling my eyes because that's all of January... I would say that trust what's coming out of the UND team. Hennessy is dialed in. We were told last week 4-6 weeks. Sometime in January. Quote

Either way, my thoughts are if we get Boeser and Jost back at 100% by the Miami series at home I'll be happy. Quote

Popular Post stoneySIOUX Posted December 22, 2016 Popular Post Posted December 22, 2016 http://thesportsdaily.com/goonsworld-blog/the-tomek-question/ Goonie talks about Tomek and I think his quote is important. His goal is still to be the No. 1 tendy at UND and he spent the whole quote talking about the team. To me, this says a lot about the kid. “I didn’t get to play last year because of a pre-season groin injury that needed surgery, and recovery time from it,” Matej said. “But I was really happy to be on the team we had last year. It was an amazing group of guys that was able to accomplish a big thing after sixteen years of our program not winning a National Championship, so everyone was really excited when we won. Everyone on the team was really happy about it, so it was a great first college hockey experience to be a part of the National Championship team even though I didn’t play.” “Expectation for me personally is the same as when I first came here. I want to be the number one goalie and play as much as I can. This is also my last year to try and play in the World Juniors for Slovakia so I think the World Juniors and becoming the number one goalie at UND is the prime goals.” (World Junior 2017) 6 Quote

Frozen4sioux Posted January 2, 2017 Author Posted January 2, 2017 That's just terrible writing. So compare this Dbag to a real sports writer like Schloss and his article on fighting. Chambers makes up an opinion and writes it up like a Jr high assignment. And doesn't support it with any type of background, interviews, facts other than a perverted hot take by infering Jost signs mid season because he has a single mother. Disgusting. THIS IS WHY SPORTSWRITERS ARE BECOMING EXTINCT. People don't really pay money for garbage, we have it ssooooooooooooo good with Schloss, don't take it for granted. 3 Quote

I didn't take it that way at all...all Chambers is saying is that he will sign in the weeks after his 19th birthday.....there is only 3 weeks left in the season after his birthday. Less if the we don't make the Frozen Four....or the tourney for that matter. He isn't going anywhere for now. Good chance that he is one and done....according to Chambers and a lot of posters on here. He is a douche-bag though....that part is fact. Quote

He presented it as if he knew with certainty that Jost will bolt after his freshman season with no facts or information to back it up besides 'The Avs are bad and he has a single mother so he'll want the contract'. If he would've framed this in more of a 'I think there's a good chance he'll sign' vs 'Breaking News: Tyson Jost will leave UND after this season' it would've been fine. Quote
