I wonder if Vancouver's team orthopedist will do the surgery.

One of my buddies is a terrific wrist and hand surgeon in the MSP area...........................

Who said he was getting surgery

So is that your cryptic way of saying he is done playing at UND?

Simple question.

If I understood Coach Berry correctly at the end of the presser....he's expecting Boeser back for the Union game. He also said that Jost will play against UNO.

Personally, I'd be concerned seeing Brock turning around and playing 18 days after getting surgery, but I'm no doctor.

And according to Schloss' on the TSN show earlier, the expectation is that Tyson will play in a medal game Thursday and fly down to Omaha Friday morning/afternoon to make it for game time Friday night.

So why the concern....they're not going let him play unless he's cleared, by doctors, to play.

If that is the implication..... basically a 2 week post-op recovery period.....he should have had surgery as soon as it was a treatment option.

I guess it doesn't matter now with his impending departure. :silly:

I'm not a doctor, and I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night (close, but no). However, maybe surgery wasn't an option three weeks ago because of the status of the injury and now it is. As far as recovery time, what type of surgery is it? If it's a scope, two weeks seems pretty normal for minimally invasive procedures.

Bottom line: There are enough people looking out for Boeser that the right decisions for the right reasons will be made.

I'm pretty sure Berry was talking about Hayden Shaw since that is who the question was about. Audio was weird on the video.

Ok .....the audio was poor....didn't realize they had stopped talking about Boeser.

Don't shoot the messenger

The surgery was an easy guess as that is a rumor that has been flying around since the goph series.....you also noted the team surgeon was doing it while also noting he was bolting after Christmas.  Barring unknown academic issues, he isnt going anywhere.

And Brock is a character guy and doesn't abandon a team mid season unlike someone did recently.
