  1. I can't wait. How exciting for the city!
  2. Not sure anybody said your activity was "illegal" at all, because it's not. It is deceptive and dishonest, and we're holding you accountable to that so people aren't misled going forward.
  3. Holding somebody accountable is much different than cyber-bullying.
  4. You're disgracing the logo and tradition that we all love so, by ripping people off with fake product. It doesn't get much deeper than that. Among everybody that even seldom posts on these forums, I can confidently tell you that most every different variation of the jersey worn by the team at whatever point throughout history is owned by many, hence why this topic exists. People want to own genuine Sioux apparel and memorabilia, and when production channels become limited and lesser, we go to greater lengths to acquire. You try to establish credibility elsewhere to undermine the intelligence of not only those you're marketing to, but others who care much more deeply than you with MANY years of expertise and the ability to call out authentic vs fake. Save yourself, along with those here and your [unfortunately] misled customer base, the trouble, grief and embarrassment. In my relatively short time on this earth I've learned the greatest weakness is covering weakness up. It's always nice to make a quick buck, sure, but we refuse to do business with somebody clearly lacking integrity. Nobody's going to stop you, but we would suggest (and respect) that you approach in the future with a hell of a lot more honesty than you have in the past.

    The Herald

Dude.. you're annoying. A notorious troll wherever you can find a fire to light, for absolutely no reason or basis. Do less.
  6. Pizza and quite the spread of merch for a townie dive. Atmosphere hasn't changed a bit since Oxford took over.
  7. There are few things I agree with what he did/has done as our president, and this is one of them. As a grad from the last handful of years, it became clear that the university needed a ridiculous amount of modernizing and I'm glad he was aware enough to allocate spend for all of these projects, given consideration to attendance/student body numbers being in limbo over the last decade. Really looking forward to all of the face-lifts coming in the next few years, especially to the CFL, Union and Gamble.
  8. @MafiaMan Put me down for one Green and one Grey. siouxsherm94 on the Green. Thank you for heading this up again!

    ITS OVER!!!

I'm not calling them kids nor do I defend the argument behind that group of thought. I'm also not sensitive to and for them either. They aren't boys anymore and they came to college to pursue hockey now above all else, whether or not hockey ends up being their forever. All I'm saying is the guys are aware of what the fans think and the criticism (again, along with praise) is taken to heart.

    ITS OVER!!!

Was friends with a few of the guys, and had classes with even more, who played on the '13-'16 teams...... you'd be surprised. They are aware of SS and the scrutiny (or praise) they receive on this board. SS is just as accessible to them as it is to all of us. And believe it or not, there's emotional sincerity driving their appreciation for us fans, be it personally, in an interview or whatever the mode is.
  11. As great as it would have been to pack the Ralph for the natty, I can't imagine being anywhere else but downtown GF for the game. One of the best nights of my life, as I'm sure many others can say.
  12. 'You're correct, my mistake. Was looking at and focused on the percentages of the 40/89 or 34/90. Not sure what led to it. Thanks for the clarification.
  13. GREAT question that you'd think would be answered by now, especially with the number of votes of no confidence on his record.
  14. Sincerely, I'm not picking on just this post but those of the like that have been coming in waves over the last two months.... Clinging to these very broad topics that are obviously catalysts for change without granular suggestion for improvement, is simply wasted space. At the end of the day, we all want a better team. The construct of that better team is up to our coaching staff, who are paid professionals brought into our program for a reason. Be it conversion rates on the PP, strategic and efficient line orientation/combinations, getting up and down the ice via breakouts and zone play structure..... so many things go into smart play. Talent this year is lacking relative to years past, but that isn't to say it's not there at all. I don't disagree that we have other deficiencies (could be in our staff, sure) and changes need to be made, but statements similar to the quoted above are and have been awfully frustrating. We aren't a team without coaches, and games aren't played without our athletes. Everyone is responsible for the execution and requires, at the very least, a reciprocal effort. On the bright side, we have the top face-off winner in the country by a long shot in Rhett, which is a respect that will be sorely missed but hopefully a role that can be filled and evenly distributed in the coming years. A majority of our current roster has promising potential, and that coupled with incoming recruiting classes is an exciting prospect for our beloved program. It's a down year, but far from the "demise" as some would suggest. Until then....let's do our best to enjoy this final stretch. It's not over until it's over. The negative energy leads to the lower.
  15. Not much of a choice being independent. Pumped to see them capitalize on their endowment. The evolution of that team over the last few years has been fun to watch.
  16. I agree completely with the Huntsville and Canisius sentiment. It's expensive and, at best, a schedule filler that could have a detrimental impact in the event our boys don't show up to play. Anybody feel free to correct if I'm wrong, but I believe when we have a series against an atypical opponent, no matter the host, they do their best to duplicate that series at some point in the other building. Multiple drivers here (offset travel costs, guarantees non-conference scheduled games, etc.). I do know it didn't happen the last time UAH was in town. Was at that series a few years ago and it was uneventful. As many of us know their program has been shaken up a couple times this past decade with threats of being shut down or moving out of the NCAA ranks. For all reasons, a tough opponent to schedule with, but if anything good exposure and experience for everyone.
  17. If he put up 2.64PPG last year, just over 2 this year and isn't in the juniors, there has to be more to the story.
  18. Haha, all good man. We're here for the same reason; credit to you on conveying our mutual line of thought when trying to identify the crux of this season's woes.
  19. Everything in the parentheses was 100% a joke. All fun and games, no fingers being pointed at anyone. Try not to hurt your brain thinking deeply about this. Not worth the effort.
  20. Considering the caliber of upcoming recruiting classes between us and Wisco, along with a bright outlook on UMN's rebound after this season, I don't think we're that far off. Keeping it sustained, however, is another topic.
  21. If no outright suggestion of injury, likely sickness and hopefully ready to go again for tomorrow. (AKA Bubs had an early week hoorah kegger with the boys and a couple of casualties were had)
  22. Weirdly, the closer we get to this game, the more and more my nerves are calming. I have a good feeling about tonight despite some holes in our line-up. UND 3-2; JBD on one.
