So if a coach moves a lot they are no good  and if a coach stays at the same place too long they are no good

I'm confused, are there any good coaches

UND football is the greatest program in the history of all great programs. It is spectacular. Just so great.

If you substitute tremendous for spectacular, you might have a future as a Trump impersonator. :)  We are obviously none of the things you said and there is a lot of room for improvement.  But we are also not the 117th best FCS program either....which 90% of your posts make it sound like.

Kudos to the program and leadership finally “getting it”. Coaching matters. Don’t do your job, you lose it.

If the rumors are true, why did it take this long? Or did he walk away on his own?

What coach are you referring to?

Did something just happen?

A certain high level coach is leaving the program, sounds like it was his decision.

Haven’t heard who but is it one who wears out a set of head phones per game

I don’t think anyone should be excited to see a coordinator step away in mid February. Tough time to find a new coach, many guys that were available after the season have already found new gigs.

My uneducated guess is that we will promote from within.

I agree. Not ideal timing, so it’s not a great situation. Losing two coaches in February is concerning.

Nice, way to lower the bar

No, but with poor coaching to begin with, and no one fired in December, but instead one leaves to rival and the other resigns in February: bottomline it’s not ideal.
