In this era of transfer portal college football, UND having Bubba as head coach is a liability. Too old school and behind the times. Danny Freund is already doing his best to pick up the slack, but the defensive side of the ball is quickly falling behind. Change is needed for UND to take the next step. SuhakiYeahYeah
I see this year's vikings as very similar to this year's UND team. Great offense, putrid defense. The losses they took were bad, but all of their one-possession games were won except for the most important one. Now please fire Ed Donatell. Popular Post The Sicatoka
NDSU showed weakness and its fan base is questioning everything. SDSU will have a new head coach and has lost other staff. Both will have to figure it out anew. 2023 is the year set up perfectly for the Fighting Hawks to emerge. Now do it.

SDSU is loaded next year. Lots of talent returning. I’m guessing they don’t miss a beat. Bison will need to reload but they have had good recruiting classes. They will be vulnerable. If we improve,as we should, we can be there. MVFC will still be tough for any team to go undefeated. I’m not sure which other teams have most key players returning, but UND should be better especially if we can improve defensively.

Sioux94
The NAU game will be an portant game for use next year because it can be used as a measuring stick for us against other Big Sky teams. It was be nice to get a convincing win at home against them, and would love to see Montana lose at NAU. Looks like a fairly tough schedule for NAU this Fall. It will also help be a measuring stick for MVFC against Big Sky. Hopefully SDSU dominates Montana State again next year too as that will help Big Sky. Yup, need that NAU game at home and get off to a 2-0 start before heading up to Boise.

Boise game is more important. Winning on the road against an FBS opponent would be more beneficial and impactful to UND football. Grand Forks don’t care if UND beats Northern Arizona. Time to raise expectations higher than 7 wins and a 1st round playoff exit year after year. Ideally, UND starts 3-0, though, of course.

However, can't have a chance at 3-0 if you don't get through your first two games and if UND is going to be that team we all expect them to be... they win the first two at home comfortably. UND under Bubba is a 6 to 7 win/season program. That would suggest UND starts 2-1, and week 2 vs NAU will be a nail bitter. That shouldn’t be acceptable, though. 1
