This what we are up against in the polls.  BMac is in love with the CAA and SoCon Ohio Valley.  SoS be damn.  Now he says Big Sky is tough than MVFC.  Moves Sac St ahead of the Jacks.  I don't have a problem with that.  He places Mont St 4th place  with a 3 point win.   UND 24th place.  SoS be damned.

Since we are dealing in hypothetical this morning...7-4 with a win in Fargo gets UND in.

Just like the old D2 days being in the tougher region. Consistent winning seasons will get us there. Consistent winning will not only get us respect but also get players making plays to win in tighter/tougher games.

I see one prognosticator on AGS has us in the first 4 out and Montana in the last 4 in and beating Mont. State.

In theory, it's still possible for 6 teams from the Valley to get to 7-4 or better, correct?

If ISU-R ends up at 6-5, then I don't see a scenario where UND finishes any worse than the 4th team in from the valley if they win one of their next two.   I would think that would get them into the playoffs, but no guarantee.

That said, I think we've got a decent shot at ending up at 8 and 3 with a lock on a playoff spot!  Beat USD next week and go from there.

7-3 in the FCS against what is projected to be the #2 SOS?  UND is in. Win this week and then house money the weekend after.

Yes. I would think so.  Get YSU and Abliene to 8 wins, wins against two playoff teams right there.
