The Sicatoka Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 Pollsters do not like inconsistent teams. I don't expect UND to move much if at all this week as they won a game they were supposed to win. Winning solves everything and is what UND controls. Control what's your to control. 2 Quote

SiouxFan100 Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 Ok those who care about polls can follow and post to this thread and those who don’t care and think polls are worthless just ignore and don’t post to this thread make sense and no fighting should add that I doubt the non believers can resist posting here 2 Quote
Sioux>Bison Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 Win three of the next four games and I bet we are ranked in the top 8! 1 Quote
jdub27 Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 While they are still taking into account whatever preseason info was fed into the calculations: #10 in Massey (+1) #18 in Sagarin (-8, Nebraska getting boat raced and UNI losing by 16 didn't help) Massey predicts a 30-28 loss (47% chance to win) Sagarin says SIU is 1.32 points better than UND and then add 2.11 for the current home field advantage. Sioux94 Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 We need to go at least 1-1 the next two weeks, obviously 2-0 is ideal but if we lose both we are out of the polls. If we lose to SIU, but then beat what seems to be a really good Missouri State team at home, we'd be ranked again but I have no idea where, probably back up to 18-20. Quote

SiouxFan100 Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 It will be hard moving into the top 5-10 unless they lose and especially if we beat them wow our schedule is amazing with opportunities Quote
BarnWinterSportsEngelstad Posted October 3, 2022 Posted October 3, 2022 Last week we dropped out of the NCAA STATS PERFORM FCS TOP 25. Receiving only 82 votes. By just beating a #7 we should claw our way back in. Quote

ND1 Posted October 3, 2022 Posted October 3, 2022 Damn even McFeely tweeted out support for UND ….I have seen it all ! “I don't pay much attention to FCS polls. I don't think many voters in either major poll watch many games outside of "their" team. FCS is largely regional/local. But .. How can UND throttle No. 7 team in the country, be 3-1 vs. FCS, and not be in the top 25 of the coaches poll?” 3 Quote

The Sicatoka Posted October 3, 2022 Posted October 3, 2022 Did Mike watch the UND game? See: the "tap out" comment. How else would he know of MoiSt's lackluster second half and terrible body language in the fourth? Glad to have another fan, Mike. Quote
