Potato Bowl 2022

All kinds of fry feed stuff in the UND and UND Athletics Twitter feeds with when and where and updates.

Maybe you curmudgeons need to catch up to the moderately cool yet still behind the times kids (like me). ;)

Soy ink and dead trees for information is so last century, and websites are last decade. :D

Per Tom Miller (GF Herald), expecting out: Bryant, Skokna, Fort, Klein.

Picking up Hoosman via the portal is turning out to be huge in light of Skokna being out again.

And Fort out only puts more pressure on the defensive backfield.

And can Klein just get and stay healthy.

Unpopular take, but I’ve never been too impressed with Skokna.

Hoosman is a different type of player but overall is an upgrade. Isaiah Smith has star potential if can stay healthy. Like the 2 man backfield coming together, with some Red Wilson sprinkled in there.

What a weird thing to try to troll people about. Can't imagine waking up in the morning and deciding to start my day with such a pointless thing.
Turn out was excellent despite some sprinkles in the middle of the event (which don't go well with an industrial fryer).
Great community event as always.

There has also been 4 football articles this week. A conference look, two insight pieces and a game preview.

The point is the GFH always has a big spread on FF day and the last article wasn't up when I posted.

I strongly disagree with the Skokna take. I think he provides a nice change up. Also, reliable in the return game.

That’s fine, I expected some people to disagree.
I think he’s average at best as a MVFC specialist, but he can serve multiple roles which is valuable.

Guess that is probably why Klein didn't see the field at all last week, was thinking maybe he was dinged up....but I didn't recall hearing he was before last weeks game.  Hopefully Bryant and Fort will be back soon, well all of the guys....but those two would be the most important.

I don't think you and I have ever agreed on this much concerning UND football...ever!  Haha...

Agree on Skokna and I'm not dogging him at all as a person...he's a solid special teams asset (a role that is losing value due to rule changes and emphasis)..but we seem to have others that can fill his role (Red Wilson...also where has Creighton Mitchell gone?).  I just never saw Skokna take that next step as a player over the course of his career here...
