A lot are returning, have one more year experience and a lot of the new guys now have at least 1 year playing together. Last year went pretty well considering all the new faces and freshmen. I am optimistic about this season! Let's go SIOUX! Quote
1972 Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 this may have been covered, and if so , i appoligize, but are people actually happy with the earlier start times for the games, or am i in the minority. it really makes it a challenge if you work until 5;30-6:00 on a friday, and it kinda limits to what you can plan to do on a saturday. (this is if you attend the game in person) 2 Quote

The early time on Saturday doesn’t bother me though. Quote
Sodbuster Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 I don't like the earlier times. For at home watching on TV, I know my son likes to get his 3 daughters (ages 7, 4, and 2) in bed so he can watch a majority of the game in peace. 1 Quote

UNDPUCKS Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 No muffin-like cross-ice passes with zero d-men back this season please, and stuff like that..... Quote

andtheHomeoftheSIOUX!! Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 We love the earlier start time on Saturdays. So much easier with kids and when traveling from out of town. Quote
LuvHockey Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 Start the games whatever time you want. I want to watch Sioux hockey so I'll find a way to get there. And yes, I'm from outta town too. Quote

I remember pushing on Roger Thomas for the 7:30 Friday / 7:00 Saturday configuration to make it easier for folks driving in on Friday night. They should leave Friday at 7:30 in my opinion. Not of fan of the 6:00 pm Saturday ... until I get home and it's not almost midnight. Quote

Good point. One positive is that I could see it helping with student attendance. Quote

stoneySIOUX Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 Pretty cool for Sendo. First time in UND history that a player has worn a letter for three seasons. Quote

We had this many letters last year. And the year before that. And probably a few other years besides 2016, who I believe had more. So I don’t know why people keep bringing this up as if it’s a new thing. Quote
