Fader Posted April 16, 2019 Posted April 16, 2019 Now for the speculation on who will fill the position. Quote

ChrisUND1 Posted April 16, 2019 Posted April 16, 2019 PP was 8th of 8 teams in NCHC...and 52nd out of 60 in the nation!!! OUCH!!!! Quote
SiouxScore Posted April 16, 2019 Posted April 16, 2019 Please find someone that can recruit Minnesota well especially the Twin Cities. 1 Quote

AlphaMikeFoxtrot Posted April 16, 2019 Posted April 16, 2019 Herter isn't going to give up his spot knowing he's heir apparent at UMD when Sandelin goes to the NHL. Quote

Those who know don't share why. I get it, it's a forum for hockey talk not gossip about someone's personal life, but it is annoying. 1 1 Quote

You'll get told that he won't ever come back, but they won't tell you why. I don't know if he would leave a high level position in the USHL for an assistant job in college. Quote
90siouxfan Posted April 16, 2019 Posted April 16, 2019 I would be fine with Smaby, would love Eades even if the board mavens know better, Schneekloth is interesting? Quote
SiouxFan100 Posted April 16, 2019 Posted April 16, 2019 good move with Shaw? will this solve? what else needs to happen? should add that it rarely is one person or thing that is the sole cause of success or failure Quote
jk Posted April 16, 2019 Posted April 16, 2019 Good luck to Shaw. Thanks for the contributions to the program and for helping win a national title. For the critics, we have no idea if he was the problem with the PP. It could be that Scotty Bowman and Bill Belichick together couldn't have made it work with the pieces they were given. When Jackson was hired, few outsiders saw it coming. That scenario is possible this time around as well. If it's Schneekloth and he does well, I may forgive him for Kolanos. 1 1 Quote
fightingsioux4life Posted April 16, 2019 Posted April 16, 2019 I am guessing Shaw's replacement is on one of the Frozen Four teams. Our season ended a month ago. The college hockey season ended last Saturday night. Why else would Berry wait until now to make the move? Just a hunch. Quote

I still blame Schneekloth for 2001 also Quote

Could just have enough respect for the game to wait until everyone's season is over and not add distractions to anyone's season. 2 Quote

cberkas Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 Bring back Karl and if they bring in someone else find a way to pay Karl this time. Schneekloth outside of Karl These grad-assistants need to actually coach somewhere first. And no to Fabian, women's hockey is different from men's. That why you didn't see Johnson getting the men's job at Wisconsin. Quote
