Notre Dame natty coming.

Not say Jackson is a bad coach, but how long does he get until the school says you just can’t get it done.

As long as they are a decent team ND ain't gonna get rid of him. Hockey is very far down on the list of priorities in South Bend. It's the 3rd most important WINTER sport on campus.

Making it the 4th most popular sport on campus.

Idk. They win a lot more at pretty much every other sport. I don't think there is much pressure to win there.

ND didnt make a NCAA tourney until this century.

No coach other than the current dude has had a record over .500 there.

This looks like they are signaling that they are somewhat listening to their fanbase.

Its definitely addressing some of the comcerns they have control over.

Having UND in house this year will surely help their fanbase be invigorated as well, at least for that weekend.

They cant do anything about p1g opponents and p1g dictatrd gametimes.

The cupcake classic is also much improved and if they can make this tourney a quasi northbstar cup at least everyother year, it will help them greatly.

A popular and full marriucci is good for college hockey.

Until fans return, then they’ll raise ticket prices back up. Supply and demand.

Actually... looks like they are just shifting to higher required payments for the right to buy the best seats.

Who knows, at least their responding in some way and trying.

Goofer program keeps looking like a joke with the empty barn pics.

Its also naive and foolish to think their troubles cant appear here too.

Curious to see how they are going to handle the UND game this year.  Last time, you could only initially buy them as part of a 4 game pack.  then after that they were $99 for just the one game.

Let's hope UND gets placed at Loveland in 2020!

That's going to look like a quiet, empty mausoleum.

Not if UND is there. No difference than it being in Denver travel wise except a car rental might be needed. And there are plenty of UND fans in the area.

Agreed. There is also plenty of lodging options in Loveland that are less expensive than Denver. This past season, my group agreed that there were more UND fans than DU fans at the Friday night game. If UND is placed in Loveland, there will be a good crowd.

Jackson has presided over a golden era in Fighting Irish hockey history.  He'll retire when he says he's done.

It seats a little over 5k for hockey so I'd think UND could pack 'em in if they got placed there.

The Eagles average over 5200 per game in the Bud.
I'm really happy to see the West Regionals placed in Loveland, as I'm moving there in a month.

According to the Fargo Herald...a 16 year old from Arizona committed to the Gophers....cited facilities and coaching as the reason....FYI. Most major hockey powers have nice facilities....so that's usually moot....coach and the system they play is oft a factor....Sandelin recruits to fit and wants kids who may stay 3/4 years...he's successful with that philosophy...
