This is good news. I thought he turned into a great play by play announcer. Early on he needed to brush up a bit on lingo but overcame that with ease. Doesn’t load on iTunes for me but Spotify works perfectly. Especially enjoyed the Schlossman episode regarding incoming players and coach search.

Big A HG
So UND might get "dispossessed" of Alex?

Let’s not embarrass our tradition anymore by breaking them out for “must-win” games 20 times a year. LOL couldn't not buy a $75 authentic Black. Not ashamed about it either. I loved telling my wife how I was such a responsible shopper.

AJS
I know there's been discussion about the Hoff signing in the early departures thread, but I thought I'd add some comments on here. First of all, best of luck to him in the future. As it relates to next years team, we all knew something had to give in regards to the forward position next year. We are pretty confident we'll see 5 new forwards (4 Freshman and 1 Grad Transfer) and there were only 3 Seniors graduating. I look at it this way, if you made a list of the forwards that are returning / coming in, looking at different variables like (1) Play / production during their UND career (2) Players Grade (3) Upside for returning players and the usual for incoming forwards, you could make a list of which players would hurt the most leaving. Not only that, but what kind situation it might cause if that player leaves (i.e. Seniors pushed out with no other options). Taking all of that information into account, Hoff signing a pro contract in his home country was definitely the smoothest option. By that I mean the player that had an option to sign that would hurt the least. From a talent standpoint, there are a couple players (also going to be Seniors) that everyone would have preferred, but would have been left with no options (I would guess). In my hypothetical lines for next year, I didn't see Hoff starting, but would have had him as the first option in case of an injury. He also had the talent to insert himself into the lineup and there not to be a drop off in talent on the 3rd or 4th lines. This will hurt from a quality depth standpoint, which was one of the things that plagued this forward group last year. The forward number is now 16, my question is will we see another person exit? Wilbur
Good luck Ludvig. The Euros are officially gone. UND loses more Olympians. That 30 for 30 episode on lost Olympians should air any time now.

Wilbur
KG is back in GF. One of my favorite players of all time to wear the green and I believe an academic all American to go with it. We know he can coach goaltenders, can he coach a power play??

Shaw couldn't and he was a power play specialist, so I'm sure Karl will be fine at running a power play.

Wilbur
Karl had the job of literally breaking down video of thousands of professional games. And as we know there is a huge emphasis on special teams play in film analysis. Hopefully he can bring some of that with him. If you've ever met Karl the guy is down to earth and extremely intelligent. I think he will help with recruiting, and I see our goaltending taking a step forward this season. Not kidding when I say he could be the head coach in 10 years.
